2022/23 Frank Lampard

I didn't say where they'd finish. I said that were 20th, smack bang bottom of the league and he said they're a good team. He must think we're phenomenal on this metrics.
Well their players were well pumped up for that yesterday. In fact they said so.

Wolves made a wrong choice on a manager after Nuno. But they had chances to change that manager and do well afterward because they've bought consistently well and bought a certain type of player. We on the other hand have bought in a haphazard way and the technical standard we have means no manager can simply replace Lampard and turn this for us.

You can chop and change managers with a solid team and secure financials. Wolves have that through their questionable Portuguese connections where they sign some champions league players and don't have the league on their backs.

Stability is needed even if it means a place in the league IMO

Or if not, it's just about survival until the stadium is built and new owners come in. If that's the case...it's more uncomfortable weekends until then. But it will pop eventually

Not sure what you mean here mate.

He consistently topped fan polls, including on here.
I have and still am fully behind him but this constant reference to him being the fans choice doesn't really hold water.
Were the polls the ones with FL , Duncan Ferguson and Vitor Pierre?
I personally wasn't particularly happy with the appointment but once selected wanted to see him a given proper chance to do the job.

Even if we drop into the Championship.

I just think more chopping and changing just leads us back to where we are now. Dyche comes in for eg...based on his record at Burnley.... we'll still be in a relegation fight the following season. Rinse and repeat.

Unless just staying in the league is the plan.

3 things

1) he isn’t deliberately trying to relegate us
2) Poch will never come here without a transfer budget
3) Moshiri will hire who he wants, not who we want meaning it would be Martinez/Moyes/another Ex RS
Re point 3 if we hire Moyes or Martinez I would bet that it wasn’t Moshiri pushing to hire them

Losing our PL status would be catastrophic for the whole organization and the stadium. And there would be no guarantee wed'd climb back out of the Championship in any great hurry.

A new manager doesn’t change our front three or ensure DCL stays fit for the whole season.

Frank is in a lose lose situation unless we get three attacking players in January and DCL stays fit.

I just don’t think we have the funds. Maybe not signing off on pickford shows that we are considering selling to fund players.

Frank is not the reason we have scored 12 all season. Onana, Gray, Gordon, Maupay should all gave scored a few goals each by now at least.
