Putting Ancelotti in that is a waste of time. He had the benefit of a fit calvert lewin and certainly used him alongside digne. He also had Richarlison.
He also had Mina, Gomes, keane, Kenny, Walcott, Allan to mention just a few and tbh DCL has only ever had 1 good season and it was under Carlo because of how well he managed him. It might just be that Carlo was a far better manager than both Benitez and Lampard could ever dream of being.

Easly a far better manager. He polished a turd. But calvert lewin Richarlison and Digne must have been possibly 50/60% of Everton goals and assists. Thats a lot to walk out of the team. And be replaced by the likes of Rondon and maupay.

And we add McNeil etc to the trash bin. The recruitment team is to blame.

I think he's not our biggest problem but not convinced he's part of the solution either. No clue whether he is a good manager or not.

I think there's others out there like Pochettino and Dyche who, provided we sign actual half decent attacking players, would have a better chance at keeping us up.

A lot depends on what it's like behind the scenes too - is it toxic? Do players believe in him? Is there a belief he knows what he's doing? Do we have players line Kudus lined up heavily influenced by Lampard?

Im not fussed if lampard went tomorrow. But i dont even think Ancelotti would get anything from whats available now. He got the best from calvert lewin no doubt about it. And look how many assists digne had that season for calvert lewin.
I wouldnt say it was a fantastic forward line but having calvert lewin available with Richarlison compared to now. Its chalk n cheese.

We have nothing now in attack. Nothing. If lampard went tomorrow then the next manager also has nothing.

Cant stress enough how badly this club has let this situation manage itself. Worst forward line options in the premier league by a distance.

Gordon, Gray, Townsend and Iwobi were here. So Richy was sold and DCL became a sick-note. Then we bought in McNeil, Maupay and a Utd reserve cm I mean wtf!? Yes we have nothing now in attack but who is the one who used the £50m cash from Richy sell to buy crap players? We could have signed two decent attackers with the said £50m and look what we have got now.

I don’t care what anyone says, Carlo was one of the best things to happen to Everton and as per usual we [Poor language removed] it up. Forget the house in Crosby, he should have been in Formby where the chance of a break in is small.

We should have given him whatever he wanted in order to improve the side. However, again, we messed it up. Sure we had games under him which we lost and we should have won and sure some of the games were boring etc but the guy was a winner. 22 games lost in 67.

Lampard has already lost 20 in only 39 games. Under Carlo we simply played a 4-3-3. We had Allan and Doucoure running the midfield with James floating in crosses and actually attacking the opposition. Digne was there also floating in crosses. Then, Carlo goes and basically the breaking of the squad begins;

Digne goes
James goes
Allan goes
Richy goes

In my opinion not one of them players has been replaced by a better player, none of them. We are a shambles.

But Carlo to me will forever be, so far, the best manager I have seen manage Everton. Hands down.
