I don't really think there is much of a case to say we haven't been lucky and complaining about how clinical we are completely misses the boat on why we don't score goals.

We lost 21 games last season. We don't get anywhere near that, we stay in the league.

Never once heard him come out and state in simple terms what will happen if he's not backed. Can't imagine any half decent manager just quietly getting on with their job when they'll be fired for getting the team relegated when it's mostly on the board for their abject failure to back him.

Well we could take the point and sack him anyway, but that of course requires a board with a deeper understanding of football and we don't have that.

For me it should be clear cut with managers.

If they keep losing games then I don’t care who they are they should be on a knife edge.

Performances like today help and gives him a little breathing space. Prem is so cutthroat though that if he loses next two he’s in big trouble. Hopefully we can go on a little run now and he gets some breathing space as I’d like to see if he could progress as a manager because there are positive signs amongst the rubbishness.
