I`ll ask you yet again, why are you posting using Scottish slang ?

It`s not remotely funny and just adds to your ever growing reputation, as the forums biggest bellend.
Because if you remember, his nan is Scottish so it comes naturally, apparently.

My nan is Irish, but I don’t speak in Irish slang. But that’s because I’m not from Ireland and don’t live there. So naturally don’t speak it. But that’s just my logic, fb92 has ‘other’ spiritual logic.

Absolutely but I was thinking about this earlier today, I don’t think there is one club in the PL that has all levels of management through to executive leadership that are seriously under performing from manager, to KT, BK, DBB and FM. It’s astonishing really and I would think quite unique? Usually accusations can be levelled at one or two people but not all.
It's amazing: a world class stadium is being built on time and with professionalism 2 miles away from GP and yet the football club hierarchy that's commissioned it are Northern Premier League standard.

It's a bizzaro world we live in as fans of Everton.

I imagine northern premier league clubs are run pretty efficiently because financially, they cannot afford to make mistakes because it’s the difference between the lights being on or off.

We are run much worse than that.

I said a week ago that if he has to go them we better have a better manager in the pipeline.

I dont see anyone better coming in here, just now tbh. If the likes of Pochettino were remotley possible, ok. But that's Fantasy Island stuff.

The better solution is to hand him a couple of attackers for the second half of the season and watch how that work's out.

I think the last two rounds of games where other clubs have cemented themselves into the relegation mess with us has at least given us some hope that we might just have time to do things and be a little more patient for a few weeks yet before making big decisions on the management front.
This applies if he can beat Brighton. He certainly cannot lose it.

Unless we have a proper manager lined up - not a former employee or other such relics - then we need to stick with Lampard for as long as is tenable. In truth, that might only be for another match. Today's draw won't look so shiny if we lose at home under the lights to Brighton. The hope now - where we had none this morning - is that he can build on today's unexpected boost and drive on against Brighton and Southampton. If he beats Brighton, the club will have to stick by him in the absence of an obvious upgrade. They're not proactive enough to have already done a deal with a Poch, so they need to open that chequebook come Wednesday if he has done his bit against the Seagulls. Wednesday really is the first day of the future: with or without Frank.

Agreed. Kenwright has narcissisticly viewed himself through the lens of history and I genuinely think that once he realised he could not oversee a successful trophy winning Everton his focus turned to the new stadium which he had failed with previously. Through David Dein he managed to rope Moshiri in to his objective - essentially Kenwright was an introducer….an enabler but Moshiri is executing the vision, they just have no vision for the footballing side of things unfortunately which is why we are not very well run

From Villa 12th on 18 points to Soton 20th all ain’t safe.

Too many folk on here envious of my third eye.

Happy New Year ?

We're clear second favourites against Brighton. They have better players who are technically more gifted than ours and they have a lot of confidence away from home.

I dont expect anything more than a draw from that game.

The whole debate around Lampard as far as I'm concerned is that he should be judged on what he's been able to do with what cash he's had. I think we can all agree he sorted the defence out. On the evidence of half a season that is apparent. The jury on the centre midfield duo is still out but that's beginning to looks promising. The big problem is that FL didn't spend the cash we had to sepnd on forwards particularly well. But he's easily earned the chance to put that right in January.

You'd have to have a heart of flint not to see that.

No, he’s set us up tactically very astutely in most games against the big teams - credit for first game of the season against Chelsea where we were unlucky to lose and against the RS where we got a draw etc.

What he struggles at is breaking down average/poor teams and getting wins we need, much like Wolves. Personally, I put that down to crap forwards rather than bad tactics, but what you think the problem is there is up to you.
Ah I see, so when we draw/ do well against teams it’s because he’s tactical mastermind. When we lose it’s because the players are crap.

Take home from today is we are far more effective containment and counter side then a possession based playing through the lines side. It may be how he wants to play eventually, but he needs to recognise after today we dont have the quality of players for it at the moment and it’s something that he will have gradually transition toward, if he is to stay in the job, but results are required now.

It’s the only way.
