We cannot lose to Brighton. They're not that good plus they're missing their best player in Mac allister. If that's the idea then none of the home games against the top 8 teams are winnable.
They are a far far better team than us and we have won 2 out of the last 10 meetings Vs them I believe I heard yesterday

Name and shame please

Well its not a name and shame. I just follow a few Everton related people so it gets shared. And i just noticed a few last night "celebrating" the point away.
It doesnt sit to well with me but i get that others are not bothered.
I just hope they show the same fight against brighton.

Is it now game by game?
Apparently it is. How else to view the collective ejaculation over a point at City that has, apparently, made the “on the brink” Lampard unsackable all of a sudden?

His results over 36 matches show that he is very much surviving game by game. That’s the nature of management when you are performing poorly over 12 months.

I think we have to beat Brighton. They are good but aren’t amazing going forward. Arsenal showed last night that if you get straight into them they didn’t really stand a chance. Goodison needs to bounce!
I’m amazed some are writing this off after that point yesterday. I mean, are we progressing under this manager now or not?

We cannot keep losing home matches. Full stop.

Agree that they're playing for him. Maybe aside from Doucoure last week and the performances at Bournemouth didn't look that way.
He is finished at the club imo, there was a video going about yesterday of the pre match warmup and he was just sat on the ground as everyone else was getting stuck in.

Maybe not this season as it was always going to be a honeymoon year following on from Dr Doom Benitez himself.

But its naive to think next season fans wont want more than just Alladyceball and 15th in the table.

I dont have relegation ptsd like most of the fanbase - I simply have high standards of this football club and expect a club of our stature whos building a 53k world class iconic ground to be in and around those top 10 spots.

Celebrating avoiding relegation or sitting in 16th isn't fitting for this football club. If Lampard can get us up the table I dont care how good or bad the togger is but its a results business ultimately and 3x wins in 17 games just isn't cutting the mustard.

Brighton and Southampton are two must win home games considering our poor away record.
Expectations have dropped, a season of mid table (13th or above) would probably be accepted next season as well.

Still under pressure despite a good point. this happened last season where we got ourselves fired up for the big games but failed against teams around us.
Nearly
Lose against Brighton and he has to go tbh.
Not necessarily, for one there has to be a belief from above that Lampard and the Squad can't grind out enough draws and wins to keep out of trouble
Then
There has to be a replacement, and a semi decent viable one at that -
Not just an "any one but Lampard...even the Tea Lady!" sort.

This whole thing will drag out one game at a time as our fortunes...and fume levelled vary,
until as such times as we are thought to be safe or 'Somebody' presses the Panic Button

I wasnt aware it had. Because a few people post he was getting sacked doesnt make it factual.

As for the highlighted bit. I remember what he's walked into. Thats why im neither championing him or calling him to be sacked.

My stance on it right now is get him at least a forward line to work with. He still has the worst imo in the league. As will the next manager if he's replaced.

Didn’t like his comments again after yesterday, think he will, go back to the pregnant possession thing against Brighton.
Brighton had 2 thirds of the possession yesterday against a top Arsenal team but were wide open on transition.

If the counter attack is the way Arsenal approach playing Brighton then its clearly the right way for us too.
