2022/23 Frank Lampard

If Frank loses to Brighton I can see him getting his marching orders. Still only 3 wins all season. That's not the standard you would expect from an Everton manager who splashed the cash in the summer
Think we should make ourselves hard to beat first and foremost. I am sure we will gland out results soon.

Expectations have dropped, a season of mid table (13th or above) would probably be accepted next season as well.

The expectations of the owner, is to still be in the Premier League, by the time the new ground is finished.

That`s the sum extent of our ambition until then.

* Note I never used " ambishun " there, as I don`t have the mental age of a teenage boy and don`t have a third eye.

Honestly I think we need to stop fighting each other and focus on getting behind the team in the short term

Right now fighting over Lampard doesn’t really achieve much

Whichever side “wins” can say they were right when the time comes

We’re in a relegation battle here and we need everyone showing some unity

If we’re miraculously safe with a few games left then feel free to resume hostilities, but can we please put it on ice whilst the survival battle rages on?

Basically Big Sam tactics for yesterday. Tight two defensive lines and we score one from the two shots we had.

One victory, two draws and seven defeats from the last ten games.
Honestly not bothered about the tactics. If we spent as much time working on them for less illustrious opponents we’d be far better off in the league.

It’s your second point that’s the main one. I’ll never wish poor results on the team, but a good one yesterday seems like a stay of execution for a guy plainly out of his depth, at a crucial time right as the window opens.

Yesterday, IMO, was a stopped clock being right on occasion rather than a corner being turned.

He's talking about £70 million ish that was spent in summer.
Although it was basically just the Richarlison money being spunked away

15th in the premier league net spend since the summer of 2022.
Fulham
Wolves
Southampton
Crystal palace
Nottingham forest
Brentford
All had a higher net spend than Everton.

Yeah. We basically sold our best player. Mcniell and maupay look duds.
Hardly say we splashed the cash.

West hams net spend was 167m . Now if we'd done that id be a bit pissed.
