Hopefully someone with knowledge of how to run a football club in 2023, supported by a board with the right mix of commercial and football skills.

How was it that finances were so tight? Why wasn't our commercial revenue growing in line with our competitors? Why were constantly selling our few decent players to keep the wolf from the door?

Why do you hate Rooney so much?

Did he slap you in the face or something?

I don’t know if you’re older, where players would have bigger longevity in older days. But a teenager, with people around him telling it was a good move, is always going to move from Everton to Manchester United when United are top, have one of the best managers ever and a paypacket to go with it.

I get it was tough to take at the time, I was 12/13 and it broke my heart, but consistently referring to him as a fat manc suggests not only are you quite insulting but very angry or resentful at something that doesn’t affect you or out of your control. If you don’t like him for personal reasons or even as a person from the snippets we get from footballers that’s fine but the constant referring to him as a fat manc is odd.

It’s been almost 20 years like.and it was absolutely correct for him by the way. 100%

When he joined the club, it was the biggest and best club in the land, now its not even an also ran.

I suspect he knows full well that his mindset is actively harmful to the football club, and it’s in fact intentional.

Im all for varied opinions but finding it very difficult to see how Kenwright's tenure as owner / chairman, which has resulted in the least succesful phase in the clubs history can be seen as a success.

I am not privy to information on who might be on the next board of Everton. Nor is it my job to recruit football executives.

What I do know is that the club is a joke and needs changes.

A die in the wool Blue needs advice on whether to stay at his boyhood club with limited games played or feed his bank balance at such a young age . Hate the guy, he disgusts me. Every thing wrong with the modern footballer.
