I don’t know why, but I feel like we have a better chance of beating Southampton next game with him in charge. With the current board, we don’t know what they have up their sleeve, if anything, but I don’t think there’s on person in the club that could take over a game this big. I feel like the club will sack him and rush this next appointment, 12 months later, we’ll have the same conversations. Id still very much prefer lampard over a Dyche. But maybe Dyche is our limit?
Reading these posts when we have one win in thirteen and six losses in eight makes me feel like there is a bit of cognitive dissonance in regards to the manager

For anyone who cares, or doesn’t understand the point I’m making:

It’d really annoy me if they decided tonight was the marker in the sand, and not the Brighton or Southampton game. It’d annoy me because it’s the least sensible, it shows the least intelligence.

I just want our club to be able to make logical decisions. It terrifies me what it says about our prospects otherwise.
I personally thought the decision was made post Brighton but he was being left to take the fall for the cup game rather than giving a new manager an away game at Old Trafford (an expected loss) for their first game.

But we showed some signs then and think he may now get saints.

They don't make logical decisions. They're incapable. They're reactive - which means they don't think they don't plan, they just react.

I think the formation suits us playing top teams, as we go out looking for a point or a draw…. It works in them games

Games against the poorer teams, I just get a bit scared we don’t win them games with that formation…..

Thing is why can’t we have that work rate and commitment playing 4-3-3
Unless we go Gordon and McNeil in the wing back positions, a gamble but maybe with another centre mid alongside Onana and gana it may work, when the onus is on us and Southampton sit deep, Coleman and myko
Will offer nothing

List of Everton managers Evertonians dont want back :-

David Moyes
Roberto Martinez
Ronald Koeman
Sam Allardyce
Rafael Benitez

Yet some want to keep one that is worse than all of them, worse by a country mile....
Well the stats don’t lie, Frank just hasn’t been good enough now Is the time to replace while there is still enough games left to give a new man a chance.
