As u said mate, he was below us last season, cast your mind back to how bad we were, he couldn’t scramble points to go above 2-5 to Watford Everton. If he is so good why didn’t Villa, Brighton, Wolves get him?
Same was said of Potter when Brighton were below us, but where are Brighton and Potter today?

Lampard is competing with Mike Walker to be Everton's worst manager but we praise Everton for losing against Man Utd and we only won 3 this season and we still think Lampard will save us
Dominic King says we should back him, of course he wants us relegated
Where have our standards gone?
Are we giving in without a fight?
I cry when some of you say he is untouchable
We all want the good for Everton but Lampard despite his genuine efforts must go but no Rooney please

We did okay yesterday but United were really poor by their standards. They had Luke Shaw at centre back and Casemiro had a real off day with their midfield wide open. They were better after the subs.

We should have got a replay out of it. Big game at Goodison could have got some momentum.

He’s probably going sooner rather than later . I watched his body language in the interviews and I could be wrong but I don’t think he was all that bothered about the fans at the game showing support for him and players at the end. The Wolves and Brighton reactions seemed to rattled and irk him somewhat. As I said I could be way wrong there. I wanted him to do so well here.

I’m now seeing people say “the board can wait”. So here we go again, lay off and then people will look to make excuses again another time protests start . I don’t think I’ve ever seen a clubs custodians as protected as these ones in all my life.

Each to their own but I’ve had enough of all this, it really is tedious and frustrating, it’s the same things over and over again year after year after year and I can’t be doing it anymore. As you can see I’m waffling on, when it starts to effect your well being it’s time to lay off.
Maybe staying up till 4am moaning about it isn't good for your health, time to take a break for a week.

Depressing, people talking about him getting an extra game because we played well for 20 minutes in a 3-1 defeat to make it 1 win in 12?

Injuries piling up now. DESPERATELY needs a number 10, winger or strikers in.

Pure lack of any attacking options will get us relegated & that shown it tonight.
How is the bottom 2 sentences, lampards fault? A new manager coming in, still has the same issues.

Reading these posts when we have one win in thirteen and six losses in eight makes me feel like there is a bit of cognitive dissonance in regards to the manager
What options are there that are realistic, who could come in straight away? I’m sure people would say Dyche, but not be happy with Dyche, after 20 games, happened under big Sam when he kept us up, we moaned about the style of play.

I
We did in the League Cup game at Bournemouth and that started our slide. I approve of how Frank and the team went about their business tonight. I don’t like talk of prioritizing this game over that when they’re a week apart. Games are for winning. Once you play half- committed to win it’s a hard habit to break.
I would usually agree but our position is perilous now we go in without a key player

I’m gonna go against the grain here, I’d stick with him. I’m sick of changing managers like a revolving door club, he’s inherited a poor team, had to sell our best player, not really had the funds to attract better players so had to take punts on maupay/McNeil type players. I hope he can bring a striker in this month as a bare minimum. Franks not perfect .. far from it… but another new manager is gonna come in, he’s still got the same group of players, they’ll be trying to play another new system…. Worst case scenario we go down, don’t get me wrong I’d be devastated if that happened but ..and don’t shoot me… maybe it’s what this club needs… a period of rebuilding and instilling a new ethos through the club so we’re better equipped to compete when we do come back up. Don’t expect anyone to agree with me but I’m sick of all the chopping and changing over the past few years.
Go down we won't come back the financial implications are catastrophic

Exactly. Instead of wasting money paying Frank and his team off, and paying for a new manager and his staff, invest in the squad. All we need is an attacking midfielder and striker. It's very frustrating that they weren't lined up ready to go on the 1st Jan, but is that Franks fault?

That's it really.

If you're not going to sack him...find a way to back and provide him players ffs

Not this "difficult market" and the "right player". There's loads of solid cheap players you could have on short deals just to get them playing and helping.

A couple of attacking new players and we'll be fine. Hopefully get Garner back and Gordon firing again too.
