And people still back this absolute clown because “we only lost 3-1 and showed a bit of fight” against United? There are fan sites on Twitter (Everton extra being a prime example) who were crying out after the Brighton demolition “Lampard has to go TONIGHT”, they’ve been repeating it every day since that game. Then after last nights performance in which we lost 3-1 and got dumped out of the cup don’t forget, they’re now going with “that was a lot better, we need to give him time and back him”.
Are people just incredibly fickle, or just really really thick?
Our esteemed board wouldn't even know who he isWolves manager had them besting Liverpool having been there only three weeks, we could easily have appointed him or any other foreign manager and yet we persist with this "nice guy" it's such a shame, the standards are non-existent
Wolves with the same crap squad now look really good in a month or so with a new manager
I just don't know how you can defend the man. Seems to me me a lot of arse licking here. Ban on the way???High and mighty buddy?
And the gap between xg for and against in Sams time shows you what an utterly useless stat xG is in general. That chart doesn’t tell the story the Tweeter thinks it does.
That only says we’ve been crap since Benitez’s early success evaporated. Before that it’s indeterminate. It’s not one direction.
Maybe I don't fully buy into xg but it does show a bad trend. But results speak louderThat chart doesn’t tell the story the Tweeter thinks it does.

Absolutely. It’s a handy stat for people who don’t understand the game. And the gap between xg for and against in Sams time shows you what an utterly useless stat xG is in general.
But the argument is ‘this is the climax of years of rot and incompetence’ - which it is - but that’s not what the graph describes.Maybe I don't fully buy into xg but it does show a bad trend. But results speak louder
I take your point on the pressing and Dyche deploying that to good effect. Are our players conditioned enough for it though?
I see half our players flagging later in games with hardly doing any pressing at all.
One thing we need to get back to is the Moyes' pre-season boot camps.
