Unfortunately I think Frank is done. It's a shame because I think he does some things really well, mainly on the communication side. I think his tactics both generally and in-game have been lacking. What I don't understand is why he doesn't just hire someone to do that. We have enough coaches just doesn't seem like any of them are switched on tactically or suited to a team in our position.

The issue for me is giving him a key game and making that a make-or-break for him that heaps even more pressure on that game now. Also makes it about him rather than Everton's survival. We need clarity. I presume we lose that he's gone but what's the point if he wins that it doesn't prove he is the right man either. They have to be planning for succession.

I don't think so otherwise he'd be gone already. They are putting all their faith in him and the board will be anonymous until the end of the season, or until we are top of the Championship and looking a half decent side again, whenever that may be.

Lie down for an hour, you might regain your senses.

Even with Frank in charge we will beat Southampton, people will think it will be a turning point.

It won't.
Exactly this. Look at the backtracking going on after a “creditable” 3-1 defeat, imagine getting three points against Southampton, you’ll get some demanding the board hand him a new 5 year contract!

All a win will do is kick the can a little further down the road until the next sequence of defeats. Bottom line is he isn’t a good manager, and will never be a good manager. Just hasn’t got it.
