This is my point mate. We don't have a bloody baldy. The mass clamber for Lampard over Pereira and any other choices at the time proves it imo. Worked out well didn't it? Now no one can admit he's not great cuz it would entail admitting that they don't have a clue either.
I expect Pereira's magnificent 'Sky Sports Interview' was probably the final nail in his coffin.
Yeah the fans did try to make themselves be heard, but the silly bloke basically took himself out the running..

Utterly utterly ridiculous thing to say. 10 years of crap transfer policy is what see us where we are today. Not fans or owners expecting a return on the hundreds on millions of pounds spent. An ambitious club would have behaved like one in the transfer market, we did not.
How is it it utterly ridiculous?? Think back, Silva, Koeman and even Martinez fell foul of fan pressure.

The money came in, expectations went through the roof (mine included) they went through dips in form, had us floating around mid table and in no danger of relegation. Due to the heightened expectations the pressure on them was enormous and they were binned, if I remember correct, Marcel Brands, the actual director of football wanted to keep them managers on, over his head they were binned to appease the fans.

There was a glimmer of hope with Ancelotti, he did an amazing job with what he had and there was still people calling for his head because of some notion we should be champions league due to money spent. As soon as he went it was obvious we were heading only one way.

But ultimately it doesn’t matter, premier league status is a must and we need to make sure that happens. I’m a big Frank fan and would like nothing more than him to be given time here, it doesn’t look likely though so the next appointment needs to be spot on. I’m not saying Dyche is the answer either but when Poch/Tuchel laugh us out the room, getting that burley team into the europa league gets him a foot in the door for me.

Please tell me who you would bring in
If Franks getting the chop, there are a number of aspirational targets I would like the inspirational, competent owner and board of EFC to try to approach and offer the illustrious role of Everton manager.

The two you have mentioned would be on that list, but sadly they have not had full frontal lobotomies and so will avoid Toffee Towers like the plague, as will other competent, proven managers like gallardo, Poch or anyone else half decent.

We will end up with a boring, tired, lazy, uninspiring unemployed appointment from the wonderful list below….

A really nice guy, but out of his depth I'm afraid. He and Stevie need to be managing in the lower leagues for at least five years before they take on a Premier League club. I hope I'm wrong and he turns it around of course but with his current squad, I just can't see it. Not replacing Richarlison is a cardinal sin he will not recover from.
