Not disagreeing with you on anything. It just feels like the pressure cooker is going to explode. He needs a win or two soon to release it, as, winless after half a dozen or so matches and entrenched in the bottom 3 from the outset of the season, especially after the ending to last season, he'll be under the pump.

My concern is that he can't seem to get a clean sheet in any of his matches. Not a good sign.

That what the board decided.
You are not telling me , even for just the money we had in offer we couldn't do better, than two candidates , one from the Chinese league and a young manager with no record other a Chelsea sacking and failing at Derby.
Let's be honest if his name was fred bloggs and he had walked in with his CV for what he has done in management at that point he would in any decent club not have gotten in the door..
It's not his fault he is giving a hundred percent in difficult circumstances.
I want him to do well.
He has been let down by the club and I feel in the long run they will hang him out to dry.
I hope he proves me wrong , he seems a decent fella trying to make his way in the game.
The shower above are the real problem.

He did, but he also nearly got sacked in his first season after losing to millwall in the cup then got sacked a year later after leaving us in bottom 3.

I’m not going to call for Lampard to be sacked yet as it’s gotten us nowhere in the past. I can see the difference in how he’s trying to get us playing an looking more solid. But, ultimately, he’ll be judged on results like every other manager and he has to start getting them.

Don't disagree mate, the board/owner are at the root of our issues. But that's why I'm giving him plenty of time he doesn't have a foward line and the club is dysfunctional of course he is judged on results like anyone else but it goes beyond the manager they sold our top scorer and haven't replaced him and think that's ok

Put the chances away ( and we had 19 today ) these problems go away.

The club have got to back him with strikers then we can continue this conversation.

By time we get to Liverpool, 6 games with no wins and bottom of the table and at least 4/5 points from safety will you be happy with that?

Silly question really because all Kopites would be over the moon with that..... I don`t get the lads on here claiming "they want what`s best for the club" yet they want to back the lad with a worse record that Rafael, hmm.

We have had managers of all different types at some point we have to look above them at why it keeps happening that we end up going on these terrible runs beyond the managers decisions which of course can always be questioned. That the recruitment is a mish mash, the decisions confusing and chaotic and the owner has interfered in the football side until these things change its hard to judge any coach fully, it's like walking into a pile of rubble and expecting a brand new spanking house to be built out of it, it's not going to happen until there's joined up thinking and people who know how to run a football club.

You will get stick for saying that but I can't see us getting more than a point out of the next 3.
We needed to start well to keep the pressure off it will only increase in the next few weeks.
The board are not football savvy I don't care what anybody says, left it to late already to save us from a nerve shedding run up to the break..

We back him because he’s shown he can turn a bad bit of form around, something that his predecessors failed to do
