If he survives its evident that everyone at the club has just given up altogether. Which is possible
Honestly think that might be the case- no new contracts signed, no new players, anything that might require Moshiri to sign off isn't getting done and a change of manager may well be the same. Until someone buys him out he is an absentee owner.

Obvious to most on here. He should have gone after the Bournemouth fiasco. New coach would have had time to prep and a full transfer window. Would have had our manager bounce against wolves and these. Both winnable.

There aren't enough winnable games left now to get safe.

Whilst we slightly strengthened at the back, we just ignored the fact we sold our only goal threat. £30M+ on dross like Mcneil and Maupay was his answer. And even that came too late. It's no wonder we are where we are.

Thats the crux of things - 19 games left but we've thrown Saints, Leicester and Wolves games at home.

I imagine Thelwell would want his own man in but I imagine the board will want a safe pair of hands like Dyche to try keep us up.

Lampard has to go & it needs to be done now to give the new manager a chance to get players in he is happy with.. but knowing Everton they will have no idea of who his replacement will be & will probably take until the last day or 2 of the window to get him in

Set the team up better and you’ll likely see increased output from them.

Gordon was slotting at the start of the season, Gray is capable of slotting based on last season & this, McNeil looked a handy player for Burnley who Lampard clearly has no idea how to use.

Their output is utterly shabite i agree, but i feel people are being too kind on Lampard by saying they’re shocking, if Everton get relegated, the list of players you’ve named will all be playing Premier League football next season in some capacity.
Gray has scored 27 goals in 268 games, he’s 26. He’s utter crap

McNeil never looked handy, in 150 games for Burnley he had 18 assists and 7 goals. That is beyond shocking

Gordon has scored 3 times this season, hardly slotting

Iwobi, 11 goals in 100 games for a free flowing arsenal side

We have replaced genuine quality with championship level quality. Yes, the tactics are atrocious but these players are so poor and gutless it’s beyond recognition.

A good player can get hold of a game and change, or make one pass that takes an entire defence out of action.

Today we’ve seen Gray actually run into defenders, take shots when players were open and Gordon trot around

Maybe by blagging it, but not through their quality. Truly lame players imho

Oh mate, im not saying they’re absolutely amazing, but theres comfortably worse players in the League than them, they just so happen to be at Clubs that have better coaches.

Even if our attacking options are limited there are ways you can set up a team to get the best out of limited talent. Lampard hasn't done that since probably the Palace game.
He even got that wrong to be fair. He eventually switched Iwobi inside and brought Ali on but Palace still had chances to win that game. We got lucky that night.
