Think if he was to go this week, the next step would be to get a more 'experienced' man in, logically.

That doesn't necessarily mean a 'firefighter' which is what I reckon the likes of Dyche would be pinned as, just someone a bit more pragmatic with years of top flight footy under his belt, preferably amongst the top divisions in Europe.

I would've absolutely loved Galtier here. It's little surprise that he's currently at PSG as he's proven himself to be a very shrewd coach.

He deliberately takes his large wage knowing he can’t do the job.

I think some of that is possibly because this is his 3rd go at management and it's not ever worked out for him and he probably isn't going to get another shot at it unless he goes back to the drawing board and down the leagues again and works his way up.

I really wish Lampard would resign now, him hanging on here is making relegation inevitable and also making him look desperate. For the good of any future he may have as a manager, he needs to walk away from this now and put the blame squarely on the board and the owner. If he stays, he will take us down and will, in all probability have to spend the rest of his working life as a nodding dog pundit on some sports channel. If he stays we are definitely going down, whereas if he goes, a new manager has a chance, albeit a very slim chance, of keeping us up.

Surely it is best for everyone concerned if he resigns and leaves with a modicum of dignity. For somebody who has earned as much as him, I don't think losing the years wage he has left on his contract is a massive consideration. Go now Frank and give both our club and your career a very slim chance of survival.

It’s almost reached the point now where anybody new coming in could barely do any worse, but were we to be relegated, I think the fans would accept that the new manager could hardly be blamed. However, as someone pointed out yesterday, we’re still at Xmas, fixtures wise, because of the WC break, so exactly half the season remains, but the upcoming fixture list is scary. Something radical is required, and NOW.

It would have been disgustingly ugly yesterday, but an experienced manager would have realised we won't be scoring 2 goals. He already had 5 defenders on. He simply should of shut up shop , kept it compact and player counter attack. He isn't learning on the job at all.

• If we persist with Frank we almost certainly get relegated
• If we replace him now we almost certainly stay up

The longer he stays the less likely our survival, get this inept man out of our club asap!

It's his system that gets the midfield and defenders constantly stretched out of position

He is on his way to having the worst record in Everton's history

He already has the highest loss rate

It can't go on, the squad isn't as bad as the results. It's not working under his stewardship. We can't not sack him because "we can't keep sacking managers"

Nothing to loose now in sitting it out, the board have firmly put the blame at us the fans. Walking looks bad but sacked from an impossible job not so bad. If Frank is looking after himself and his back room he sits it out, he is perfectly entitled too.
