2022/23 Frank Lampard

Moshiri pointedly mentioned the game against S'ton and the one on the 21st against WHU in relation to Lampard. Why would he mention those two games?

IMO he draws a line under him if we lose that match.
Don’t know why Mosh is ditching. Lampard should be gone before the World Cup.

We lost to Soton. if FL stays we lose against West Ham.

15 days in to the window and we Havnt signed a striker or replaced a manager who every single one of us can see isn’t up to it. I think Moshiri has checked out. He’s not putting another penny into the playing side of things or managerial appointments and will try and get the stadium boxed before selling up.
I do fear that Moshiri could be going down the Randy Lerner route now, ie greatly reducing his funding into the club, after getting no return from his initial financial input and investment.

I'd be amazed if that happened.

I'd also welcome it, btw. Any port in a storm.

This is not a time for high minded principles. It's a time for pragmatism. I dont just mean Moyes either, it could be Dyche, it could be Allardyce etc.

I really like Lampard, but hes a beaten man. I wish he wasnt. But the job needs a more experienced manager.

It's horrific. Up until the S'ton away game we were doing fine.

But think of it this way: we have utterly collapsed since and yet we stand 2 points off 14th position.

If we change this manager and get a striker in we can turn the rest of that results sheet of yours into greens and yellows.
That’s the only thing that’s making me not say we’re doomed - there are good six or seven teams who are absolute crap and even the likes of the RS, City and Chelsea are dropping loads of points so no game is un-winnable if we make a couple of changes

Why would we take Moyes back? He has West Ham where we are, with a better squad, and money spent. What's to suggest he would keep us up? It's change for the sake of it.

If I were other clubs at the bottom Ild be watching warily at what Everton do with Lampard.

Hammers fans complaining about Moyes yesterday were saying that if we get shut of Lamaprd and get a new manager in they are doomed.

Dramatic, but I can see the logic....because it is logical.
