"I told the players at half - time it's not about a tactical game anymore"

Does anyone know what that means?

tactically clueless. An experience manager would identify Southampton threat and weakness in the first half and give detail instructions to the players.

Our players are making decisions and reacting base on their own judgement, with no input from the manager.

He is worst than Sunday league manager.

The problem is we have a board who are in full on defensive mode attacking their own supporters trying to protect their own interests and not the clubs and an absent oblivious and thick owner who only a few days ago rang Jim White to tell him everything is fine and dandy and the fans are the problem. The media are reporting as such thanks to the board.

We are truly fecked to put it bluntly. We may not get out this mess.

Still baffles me the lack of heat he's getting.

Leading against both Wolves and Southampton at home and he throws both games away.

Awful manager.
Probably because there is not really a lot of point, yes he is out of his depth, but it doesn't need repeating 3 million times a day by everybody across social media. Ultimately it's the way we are being run as a club that is the issue and that will still be the same regardless of the manager. The DoF can only work with the budget they are given by the board, I really doubt the likes of Maupay and McNeil were at the top of our transfer list last summer but when you can only offer £5m upfront in a transfer you are generally left with a fairly small pool of players to pick from. What is happening now has been building up for a few years now imo and whilst a better tactician would undoubtedly get us a few more results than at present, I don't think a change of manager means we suddenly start rocketing up the table even though there are nearly 60 points still to play for.

Lampards the difference between survival and relegation in my eyes.

The fans cant moan if we go down if there is zero pressure placed on him from the Goodison faithful imo

He should told them to fight and defend like mad for 45 minutes and the points were theirs, just park the bus and don't give stupid free kicks away .

I hate knowing that half time was going to ruin us. Simple tactics, keep the ball for the first 5 minutes of the second half, why are we holding it from kick off?!? Keep it and make them work. It’s the little things that we can’t do right

We (Evertonians) need to pull together, forget the board, they will be there whatever, Frank & the Players need us to get behind them, they will come through…..
No. Frank Lampard needs to go, he cannot turn it around we've played the exact same for a year under him.

We need to temporarily forget the board and get him out before it's too late

Whose not putting pressure on him ? I won’t deny Frank’s had a relatively easy ride but he’s hardly getting huge fan support , the whole place is brutal at the minute

Think back to the end days of Brown Shoes, Koeman, Silva, Benitez - fans screaming for the manager to go, OUT OUT OUT bellowing from all 4 corners of Goodison.

All you hear is people slating either the owner, board or players.

He's got a spell on the fanbase.

Awful manager.

Because there's no certainty that they'll bring in a competent replacement

The fans have put the heat on failing managers before, and look at where we are now

I don't think you'll find a single Everton fan who would describe him as a good manager - he's just the current manager
