It amazes me that so many people think a new manager is suddenly going to get a hatful of points from the same bunch - and still not realise it’s that bunch that have put us where we are. Once kick off comes its 11 professionals who should be doing their job.
If your boss at work tells you to do something and you continually don’t do it, it’s normally you who gets the bullet not your boss....why is football so different?
If your boss manages a team which fails to do even the most basic tasks every single day then they will be the one who gets the bullet, 100%.

I don’t want Dunc and I don’t want dyche , not sure who I want, Nuno santo been linked by talkSPORT tonight according to twitter.

I never wanted moyes back , but he’d probably be my pick on who we could get now
All currently out of work and could do a job for us, I know some won't agree but i'm bored of the same old names.

Joachim Low
Poch
Tuchel
Luis Enrique
Gerado Seoane
Jose Bordalas
Bielsa
Marcelino
Adi Hutter

Just done some stats on Nuno in another thread....

48 year old Nuno`s PL win percentage is 39%, Lampard at Everton is 29%....

In all competitions Nuno doesn`t go below 40% win percentage, 47% in England. I was surprised by the stats TBH, I`d take him over the usual links of Moyes and Dyche etc

And people at work in most cases do not have guaranteed contracts.

The players are poor of course, but honestly when a managers team talk is "dont worry about tactics, just have some passion" you're going to fail.

If I had a boss who's advice was "just try hard" but didnt guide me on how to do so, youd do a poor job.

You cant rely on passion forever. It's a short term thing. Lampard is just blagging it now, and you can tell that from his after match interview, where he looked completely bewildered.

I don’t get this point of view. New managers come in to clubs all the time and get lots of points with the players who were garbage before they came in.

Villa had 9 points from a possible 33 when they sacked Gerrard. Emery has got them 13 from a possible 18.

Or, if you make a change at the right time, a new manager has time to start getting things working before getting relegated. Saints have been garbage all season, yet just won 3 games in a week. Which is how many we have won all season.

I'd love us to go for someone like Bordalas. He managed Getafe didnt he? I think he would come.

They're not giving it to him though.

Yes, I agree with that. Fan opinion shouldn't be what dictates boardroom decisions.

But many of the blues that are now berating the board for not sacking Lampard were also backing Lampard themselves until about a week ago. Some of the people that are absolutely cacking themselves right now were calling those that were suggesting Lampard should be sacked 'whoppers' back in November.
I think there's been a little bit more to it than that

I've felt he was finished at the club since Bournemouth away and would have sacked him then. But I dont actively dislike him, in fact I like him a lot, so I dont feel like I have any other option but to support while the board dither.

He deserves to be fired 100% but until he goes then I hope a miracle happens and he turns it around. I dont think it will happen but what else can we do.

If Nuno came in and matched his 39% win percentage, he would amass 7.41 wins, so 7 or 8 wins which is an additional 21-24 points from where we are now (36-39 Points) then we just need a few draws....

When did Low last manage a club side ? We ain’t getting poch or Tuchel or Enrique. And bielsa’s style would take to long to implement.

And don’t know much about the other 4, personally I think it’s a big Risk to bring a in a foreign coach into a club in crisis
