2022/23 Frank Lampard

Lampards the difference between survival and relegation in my eyes.

The fans cant moan if we go down if there is zero pressure placed on him from the Goodison faithful imo
I'm not sure about that, most people accept he isn't up to the task but the difference is they understand a) we probably can't afford to sack him and his team and b) there really isn't an obvious replacement, very few seem to want Moyes (a good thing imo) Dyche splits opinion, and the park end da's want Dunc (as they always do)
I just wish we would open our net a bit wider mate, there are at least a good 10 solid names out of work in Europe at the moment who could come in and do a job for us.

Whose not putting pressure on him ? I won’t deny Frank’s had a relatively easy ride but he’s hardly getting huge fan support , the whole place is brutal at the minute

Many fans here act like Frank Lampard would be the english Pep Guardiola with a different owner and a better squad. They refuse to realise that he is clueless and incompetent.

We can afford to sack him. He needs to go, tomorrow.

It amazes me that so many people think a new manager is suddenly going to get a hatful of points from the same bunch - and still not realise it’s that bunch that have put us where we are. Once kick off comes its 11 professionals who should be doing their job.
If your boss at work tells you to do something and you continually don’t do it, it’s normally you who gets the bullet not your boss....why is football so different?

Think back to the end days of Brown Shoes, Koeman, Silva, Benitez - fans screaming for the manager to go, OUT OUT OUT bellowing from all 4 corners of Goodison.

All you hear is people slating either the owner, board or players.

He's got a spell on the fanbase.
He’s definitely not getting the abuse others got , I think his character and coming after the other manager combined with staying up bought him some positivity. I’d happily have a beer with the fella even after he inevitably leaves but I’m not sure anyone is defending our worse form in decades . Does he shoulder all the blame no , but he has to carry his share . The opinion amongst my group chat of over 20 season ticket holders his general disbelief he’s still here

A non-terrible manager can get out more from this squad (that isn't as awful as the Lampardonians say). Frank Lampard is a terrible manager.

Yet Southampton win 3 times in a week with the same bangers. It could be done

Fan opinion has no bearing on whether we continued to back Lampard. There was 6 weeks of no matches for then to decide

Yes, I agree with that. Fan opinion shouldn't be what dictates boardroom decisions.

But many of the blues that are now berating the board for not sacking Lampard were also backing Lampard themselves until about a week ago. Some of the people that are absolutely cacking themselves right now were calling those that were suggesting Lampard should be sacked 'whoppers' back in November.

I don’t want Dunc and I don’t want dyche , not sure who I want, Nuno santo been linked by talkSPORT tonight according to twitter.

I never wanted moyes back , but he’d probably be my pick on who we could get now
