Look at S'ton with Jones. No win until they played us in the PL.
They had a good week, last week; could be the start of a decent run for them. We didn't get anything, even after Frank brought some new players in.

I've no issue with sitting through crap football if you can see some sort of style and progress towards something. WE've had more than a full season of disoorganised dreck that shows no sign of improvement.
Get him gone. If payouts are the problem, Paul Clement was once highly rated as a manager and he's sat in Finch Farm right now.
The competent manager is not on the field when the idiots lose focusNo competent manager has that team throwing away a 1 nil lead within 45 seconds of restart. Regardless of what's been spent
I looked up Clement’s managerial record the other day, thinking that he could be the board’s cheapskate option.Get him gone. If payouts are the problem, Paul Clement was once highly rated as a manager and he's sat in Finch Farm right now.
I think it was more down to the team needs to play these tactics, as simply they are not good enough to play any other style…He didn’t want to be here any longer. He wanted a pay off. Otherwise he would have changed his style when we were safe with 10 games to go. Instead he stuck to the awful football he plays while also taking regular digs at the fans.

It’s not great at all. Barely lasted 12 months anywhere, points per game consistently less than 1 apart from his spell at Derby. His last club was Cercle Brugge at the bottom of the Belgian league.
If he had the tactical knowledge, surely he would have been sharing it with Lampard anyway.
Ancelotti rated Dunc as well yet we don’t even have him as a cheap option anymore.Ancelotti rated him, but then that was as an assistant.
Like you posted, I had a memory of the tag “highly rated” for some reason, but his stay as manager at any club is brief and number of wins consistently grim.Ancelotti rated him, but then that was as an assistant.
and yet he has been getting praised in the media as a great coach that will help lampard on his learning curve, yet see no evidence of eitherI looked up Clement’s managerial record the other day, thinking that he could be the board’s cheapskate option.

1pm on Monday and not a peep from the club, no signings linked, targets going to other clubs, not a thing.
We are absolutely finished.
West Ham are also in turmoil, but I still believe we lose that game.
