This is on the players as much if not more than the manager. Too many players having a half decent game then thinking "Ok that's me out of the firing line for a few weeks" we haven't had one single consistent performer this season apart from Pickford who is clearly fuming at what's happening in-front of him. As has been said above, Iwobi has reverted to type. At least he appears to be trying though.

I looked up Clement’s managerial record the other day, thinking that he could be the board’s cheapskate option.
It’s not great at all. Barely lasted 12 months anywhere, points per game consistently less than 1 apart from his spell at Derby. His last club was Cercle Brugge at the bottom of the Belgian league.
If he had the tactical knowledge, surely he would have been sharing it with Lampard anyway.
