For me, Lampard's biggest fault is that he just doesn't seem to be learning.

His starting lineups are, generally, ok. Problem is that he isn't proactive enough with this in-game management - 'leaving it to the players' is a pretty terrible way of managing games and suggests that he does like 99.9% of his talking/managing on the training ground and when it comes to matchday everything should just be clicking into place and, if not, we go away and 'just keep working' until we get it right..

I like Lampard as a fella, but he really needs to improve on the tactical side of the game..

I looked up Clement’s managerial record the other day, thinking that he could be the board’s cheapskate option.

It’s not great at all. Barely lasted 12 months anywhere, points per game consistently less than 1 apart from his spell at Derby. His last club was Cercle Brugge at the bottom of the Belgian league.

If he had the tactical knowledge, surely he would have been sharing it with Lampard anyway.
Imagine if he has been sharing his knowledge with Lampard all this time!

I want him gone now. He stays, we definitely go down. Btw he had been given too much time. Should have gone in November. I don’t know what the board and the owner are trying to do and achieve this time.

Koeman, Silva and FSW were sacked at the right time.

They always turn people.
Frank is the man we all should let him build.

Fully behind our manager.

I love Frank. In Frank we trust.

Are you stupid or what?

I was behind him all the way until about November when we get trashed 7-1 in total in two games. Circumstances change use your brain Moomin.

Actually you don’t otherwise you won’t quote these which I said maybe back in September.

So is he actually getting the West Ham game too? Being given 5 lives here...
Sacking him if we lose the West Ham match would be the most Everton thing ever....

Can imagine the Board discussions now....

Let's see, we have an important stretch of fixtures against our relegation competition. We could:
A) Line up some key players and have them ready to go at the start of the window
B) Sack our ineffective manager now before he well and truly leads us to the precipice of disaster
C) both A and B
D) Stick with our ineffective manager, while not offering him any reinforcements and gift 3 points each to our direct relegation competition

Somehow, the choice was D.

The only, and I mean only way that happens is if:
A) We are well and truly broke and not only can't afford a single player, but also can't afford the wages of yet another manager
B) The Board is incompetent
C) Both A and B since the only way A could be true is if B were also true

C it is....

Its a strange one as his coaching CV suggests he is very highly rated, but the incredible flaws in Lampard would suggest he has no credible tactical input. I think generally we as fans never have a clue if a coach is any good as its impossible for us to assess their work when we haven't a clue what the role is. Look how many of us mocked Steve Round who is now at Arsenal or how many celebrated Big Dunc leaving when that seems to have had zero positive impact.
