Same with anyone on MOTD or ITV’s coverage

Duncan or Rooney would be the absolute final nail in our coffin. We dont need another unexperienced manager right now.

I think the main issue for me is that even though the board is awful, I reckon there would be multiple managers if dealt the same hand as Lampard this year, would have put up a better fist of making us a semi competent side.

I think Lampard is truly awful. Worst manager in the league by far, worst manager we have had since I remember. None of his previous experience even gives any hope that he can/could turn it round once it became clear there were terminal problems , Christ-even benitez had history of being a pretty competent manager in the past and there was always a hope he could claw something back.

Strong as in he could probably deck the other applicants but on what planet is Dunc the saviour of our premier league status as manager?
Rooney did a good job at Derby so I could see that as a link but Dunc is completely unproven.

I've said it before but evertonians would've run Dunc out of the job quicker than they did with Lampard.

I'd rate Frank as a slightly better Everton manager than Mike Walker and Benitez based on last season, but Franks efforts this season has been just as bad as anything that we were subjected to under both Walker and Benitez.

Rooney did a relatively good but ultimately unsuccessful job at a championship club. He should not even be on the long list nevermind the short one.
