2022/23 Frank Lampard

They almost left the Benitez sacking last season until it was too late. Got away with it by the skin of our teeth.

We are in a worse position this season after the same number of games yet they haven't acted. We won't get away with it this time.

'He' didnt keep us up, I'm bored of hearing this being constantly trotted out.
We stayed up despite him, same as the posters that laud Dele for his part in the Palace turnaround but completely overlook him stinking the place out every other time he played.
So it's always Franks fault when we lose, and on the rare occasions we did win it had nothing to do with him whatsoever?

Right sure okay gotcha! With all that said though, it's gone beyond the joke at this stage that he's still here.

The long presser, he looked a little less dead inside, and a little more conviction in the talk of digging in etc. Worrying.

That said, was also honest and said the board nonsense may be affecting players, and also on the state of the squad and lack of finances to strengthen. Probably things he wouldn’t say if he thought he was hanging around. Has been more guarded on those questions previously.

Never thought I'd stick up for Benitez but when you hear Lampard making excuses about investment- Lampard got 8 players in the summer, presumably he had a hand in that. Benitez got 1.7m to spend and had a horrendous run of injuries to contend with, and his record was better.

It was right Benitez went but I don't want to hear excuses for / from Lampard.
It a very odd statement. He’d have 100% taken us down last season if he’d stayed. He’d destroyed the dressing room and the players hated him and his tactics, they’d stopped playing for him. So who the hell cares.

They are probably not sacking him as he knows too much of what is really going on and would be able to blab once not employed anymore...

Moshiri watching the game and not sitting next to BK suggests they are at odds hopefully he came to the match to sack and discuss replacement
Looks to me that bill is the one that probably was still supporting lampard, and probably still is...whereas moshiri is not a happy man and maybe decided to trust Bill and the board on the manager call until today...who knows if this is still the case.

Because of you and empty-headed people like you, my club will be relegated. The problem is that even now you don't understand that Lampard is the biggest problem. I know you need help to understand, but there is time for you.
Lad you aren’t a blue so stop pretending and trying to Lord it over people who more than likely have set foot inside Goodison than you will in a lifetime

The biggest problem is the board and the moron owning the club, they are the reason the club is going down, the manager is a minor problem compared to it
