2022/23 Frank Lampard

He should never have been given the job in the first place. He failed to get Derby promoted and was taking Chelsea backwards 'at a rate of knots' (at least thet were smart enough to sack him early). We were going to appoint someone else until an outcry from the fans made the board change their mind and appoint Frank (just as the same 'outcry' stopped us selling Gordon). We deserve all we get!
Stop blaming the fans for appointing Frank. The final list of names was the issue. Pereira had failed everywhere after Porto and probably would have taken us down. He’d been interviewed and rejected by us in 2 or 3 previous manager hunts and done nothing of note since. How was he suddenly the right choice.

If he hasn’t gone sometime today then they’re simply trolling the fans. There can be no other explanation for it. They must surely now know this fraud has us sleepwalking to the championship without a whimper so leaving him in charge is a blatant 2 finger salute to the supporters.

Betfair have 1/10 now that he’s gone. For context they also had Moyes as the next Everton manager at 1/16 before he went to West Ham
I’m pretty sure members of moyes family were telling people he had the job , odds can sometimes be deceptive but not sure these ones particularly are .

Because the board bottled it last minute with Moyes due to fan reaction.
I thunk you’re spot on

I honesty don’t think they’ve got a replacement in mind, you know how proactive our board are.

Must be about day 70 of "if they don't sack him today".

They haven't and we are bound for relegation.

Not sure what makes today, tomorrow, or this week more relevant particularly when they seem head-strong on marching us into The Championship.
