2022/23 Frank Lampard

Well, it's Sunday afternoon and Francis Lampard is still in situ as Everton manager despite overseeing Everton's worst-ever first 20 games in a Premier League season.

And people still believe we can stay up? Lol!

Time to wake up and smell the coffee, lads. You can talk about how close we are to the other relegation strugglers. You can say a few wins gets us out. You can say a new manager gets us out. But there is no plan. There is no leadership to develop one or execute one. There is a void at the heart of the club. The spiral is out of control.

Where is Port Vale on the map?
Stoke in afraid.

You're wrong. We don't have the worst players and team in the league, but we definitely have the worst manager.
I think the manager should go.

I think we have one of the worst sets of players in the league. I don't see much difference between our squad and the bottom four/five others: Leeds, Bournemouth, S'ton, Forest and Wolves, who are spending big to improve.

The manager was happy with the squad.

I think if the trigger isn't going to be pulled now, during a two week break in which the window will be shutting before the Arsenal game comes along, then it isn't going to be.

If we set up the same way in the next game, with the same gaps between the lines and lack of structure in the midfield, then Odegaard could score about 10. Arsenal will literally stroll between our lines and Coady will end off backing off so far he ends up in the net.
If he leaned from the mistakes he would have done so. Not going to happen.

The nice bloke was happy with the squad in september. He has no right to ask for anything.

He had a "special player" who he didn't bother using at all yesterday, too. A player he was adamant about building around.

The only "help" call that is relevant now is the distress call from the fans to remove this media-friendly chancer and give the club a last chance to survive.

Help….

He spent 35m on Onana
Got Gueye back
Got Mcneil
Got Alli
Got Maupay
Got Garner

Turned down the money for Gordon. He’s had help. He’s spent poorly and brought in the wrong players for the ‘relegation battle’ which he said he knew we would be having this season.

Didn’t buy a good forward. Didn’t buy any good, tough tackling midfielders. Didn’t buy a creative midfielder nor any quick pacey wingers. He bought other clubs dross who must of been licking their lips when the offer from Everton came in.

Get him gone.
