You're right, it's only three games. Yet, we've also got a few important draws along the way too. Can you honestly say that Lampard would have matched the tally?

That's not saying it's a stellar record or suggesting I'm happy with it, but would he have matched it? If he hadn't, we'd be further adrift or even close to bottom.

Ultimately if we go down it will be because in 10 games against the other teams who may realistically have been said to be in a relegation battle lampard only got us 8 points. Dyche has got 5 from 3 games, crucially not allowing any of those sides to gain anything on us. Lampard was and is an absolute disaster zone.

Barnes will always be worse, managed to be an utter bomb at one of the easiest jobs in Europe then did the same at Tranmere, even pidgeon botherer Aldo was better at that one

Dyche is competing with him currently too, on course for a 3rd relegation of his career which is already more than Steve Bruce.

Absolute disaster for the club. Competent manager has this team safe by now if he’s given a full season.

A lot of reasons why this club will go down. Appointing him and keeping him in post for as long as we did will be one.
But Lampard being a totally useless football manager will be another.
