We've only won 3 games. I dont believe lampard would have done any worse. The difference for me is neither here nor there

I didnt agree with the timing of the sacking at all. It wrecked our January plans and was too late. I would much rather have backed lampard with a forward than sacked a manager and created huge uncertainty in a crucial month.

You do understand that January went exactly as planned don't you? That's the only reason Frank was retained for as long as he was

He was more than just a failure, he was a curse on this club.......

This is such a good point and it’s probably driven by the fact that people who backed Lampard a bit too long weren’t, in general, complete knobs.

Terrible manager but Benitez was equally bad and had no redeeming qualities.

This is so true, he was the right fit. Not sure why people are mocking you for saying it.

What is all this crap about him being a better 'fit'. What does that even mean when he is an incompetent football manager? Before you even mention fit somone has to be demonstrably a good manager. Lampard is quite clearly a very bad manager so therefore automatically a bad fit for any PL club.

His strategy is simple. Let’s not get hammered. 1-0 defeat is a good performance for him. Team selection against Madrid summed it up - need to win and played the most defensive line up ever . Not going to make it as football manager I’m afraid
