The ghosts of Everton Past managers will relegate us.

Silva just beat us a few weeks back.

Lampard has already lost at Chelsea to Wolves and has Forest and Bournemouth to come.

Fat Sam to win a few games for Leeds.

I'm expecting Moonhead Koeman to come on for Bournemouth and score the winning pen.
Christ just have a think about our managers the last decade or so.

Moyes - ended his time with us a moody get
Martinez - delusional
Silva - impossible to warm to
Koeman - moon headed arrogant sod
Fat Sam - 0 shots on target gravy tits
Ancelotti - didn't even know his own players
Benitez - fat fat kopite
Lampard - the worst manager in premier league history
Dyche - stubborn, boring Thatcher loving ginger

What a lineup of gross incompetence. Thanks Bill.

I liked Martinez, he had smooth dance moves.

Carlo is in a different stratosphere , followed by Moyes who worked wonders on pennies.
Too early to judge Dyche.

For me Moyes ended his tenure here unwilling to push through the glass ceiling of the top 4 at the time and was content with 7th. I'd bite your arm for that now like.

I always liked silva. I think he’s the poster boy for people saying they want a young progressive up and coming manager but then not actually liking what that entails.

In terms of his overall career ancelotti is in a different stratosphere, in terms of his time at Everton he was outperformed by koeman, silva and allardyce. He took us over for a fun (well paid) project and quickly realised he had absolutely no idea how to manage a squad of so little quality, he doesn’t escape blame for where we are now.

Unwilling or unable?
Definitely a struggle, but unable? He did it with less resources early in his tenure with us. His mouthpiece Phil Neville saying 7th was fantastic for Everton didn't go down well as I think you should always be trying to do the very best possible. But you'd have to ask Moyes himself if he was satisfied or not, it's just the impression at the time.

Again though, I'd kill for that now. The grass isn't always greener etc.

Agreed.

How sad it is, Evertonians longing for the good old days of mid-table security. Soon be 30 years without silverware 😭

Clearly Moyes was a better manager for Everton than Ancelotti. Ancelotti is a completely different level of manager who is not used to working with below average footballers, he wasn’t the right fit for us and was always going to get fed up. His skill set is suited to managing the best players and biggest egos in the world, which is a skill in itself that not many others could cope with.
