We are accepting mediocrity here, not just accepting it, we are excusing it, and if you think a striker is going to make a difference well
Have you read what you have written there?

OF COURSE A STRIKER WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!

Having players up top that either hold up or get in behind stretches play and stops us defending as much. There is also the chance they will put away one of those chances today.

I have read it, ifs and buts, we should have lost 4-2 today on chances

I think the knives were out a bit earlier than that, but whatever
No mate, like said I never wanted him but supported the team until he delivered the worst run of results in our modern day history

But why are so called Evertonians obsessed with his failures here, he gets the boot and you lot are still harping over him like the second coming

I've never ever seen a manager excused this much. Why couldn't we have batted for a manager this hard that was half decent like Silva?
I liked Silva too, the difference with all other managers is the fact is they inherited decent 7th-12th placed sides roughly speaking and had a lot of money to spend. Lampard inherited a poor, disjointed squad, that was heading for relegation, kept us up and is now operating on a seemingly small budget unless players get sold. I think Koeman was the only manager of Moshiri's reign to get exactly what he wanted but Lampard has clearly been the most effected by it all. I won't excuse him if we're bottom of the table in a few weeks but I think he's earned a period of stability and growth and see what he can get out of these players.

I would say since Martinez was sacked only Ancelotti and Lampard have gotten more out of less in terms of their squads, every other manager got a chequebook and was allowed to plug gaps through transfers instead of training and working with what they'd got.

We go to Elland road then play them lot. They have wolves at home then forest. Below scotty parkers 9-0 cherries after 6 games is gonna hit different
Forest will beat them, so will Wolves on a good day

We have Maupay coming into the team Tuesday and 1-2 more faces possibly by Saturday. It’s not a given we’ll lose either game if we take every positive from the 5 games we’ve played and hold concentration

Told to perform miracles with the squad - he’s an ok manager but I guess not in the top bracket - the reality is we won’t see a top manager here so it’s on the board to provide a higher quality of player

Play 5-2-1-2 if you insist with 5 at the back. 2 proper strikers up front. Ask Coady go for the long pass and the strikers chase…

I'm not sure what his all-star coaching team do but their messages or methods really don't seem to be hitting home amongst these players. Jury still well and truly out on Frank. Should have demanded a striker two months ago, not covered for the coach and allowed us to forfeit any chance of winning for four games at the start of the season, leaves a very sour taste in the mouth.

We are aren't doing too bad 4 games in. Joint first.

Oh wait that was last year.

Atleast there less people calling for the managers head from this time last year.
