I’d be far more worried if we were being soundly beaten. Every game has had a goal being the difference between a draw or a win. We look far better set up than under Benitez and with a couple more additions and an actual striker I think we will be okay. Nothing special but we should survive quite comfortably unless something horrific happens.

Coulda shoulda, we didn’t, we drew. Could have drawn against Chelsea.
You are the coulda woulda starter, you said what a striker could have done when we only created one other chance.

They have hit the post 3 times, they shoulda coulda scored them so your point is void

I like a lot of things Lampard is doing, especially around the type of characters he's seeking to bring to the club. He's shown he can be a great motivator and his Herculean work on Alex Iwobi shows that he can improve players, but his substitutions and reading of games, is consistently poor. Really bad in-game decisions costing us points.

I know there's a lot of hate for the 5-2-3, but I can understand why he wants to push it while we're lacking a decent trio of midfielders. I just hope he can adjust to a 4-3-3 or we'll be in for a very very long season.

He obviously deserves our full support and more time with a properly recruited squad, but the doubts over his tactical abilities still ring true for me.

Is that your defence? Brentford inability to put chance after chance away. Try to come back with something at least plausible as that is pathetic
Hi mate, what about our inability to put a chance away

Have you read what you have written there?

OF COURSE A STRIKER WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!

Having players up top that either hold up or get in behind stretches play and stops us defending as much. There is also the chance they will put away one of those chances today.
You’re right but I feel like that’s being used as a convenient excuse at the moment seeing as many of the defensive issues have had nothing to do with being under sustained pressure. Finding yourself defending a 3 on 1 from your own corner for example is not happening because we haven’t got a striker, it feels like people have got fixated on the striker situation and are just ignoring everything else.

We looked good in the first half today definitely, but we'll be under massive pressure if we don't get a win against Leeds. Big game and it is there for the taking if we get the set up right.
