Scenario: It is December 2022 and Everton are 20th in the league

Moshiri - "why shouldn't i fire you frank, we are 20th, we have not won a game in the league for 5 months, what is going on?"

Frank - "well they have all been close games, and the game's we have lost have only been by 1 goal"

Moshiri - "fair enough"
It’s obvious why I’m posting that after 4 games into a season rather than 20 you muppet.

He will be gone in November but Everton will be so far behind the rest we will need a miracle
We should have been thrashed, luckily we got a point

One up with 20 minutes to go and you look to you your manager to manage. He took some tired players rather than make obvious changes that needed to be made.
Don't want to slap him off to much but he needs to read what's going on better, he failed with his subs again.

The optimist in me is hoping that he's continuing to learn from days like these. He's one of the Premier League's best ever midfielders, so he's certainly no mug either way..

It’s fine lines so far this season.

Could have beaten Chelsea, could have beaten forest, drew against Villa , won today.

I think we are worth at least a couple more points tbf. That won’t make things any easier for Lampard though with our upcoming games and the longer we don’t win the harder it gets for him.

I really hope we get some quality in this week as I just don’t this is a side with enough quality to keep us up.

Standards and expectations have dropped since start of last year though - benitez would have been pillared for this start, Lampard will get more leeway but where benitez would have been expected to get a top half finish at the start of last season, many seem happy if Lampard gets us to 17th.

We are desperate for more quality in there tbf. It would make all the difference in these tight games. Unfortunately with the fixture list we've got we could easily get battered against Liverpool and Arsenal and the idea we've been not too far away from picking up points gets thrown out the window.

Unless we're staring down the barrel of relegation I think he'll definitely get two years. When we sacked Silva we had delusions of us being a team that should be competing for Europa League football. Everyone knows anything above scrapping for our lives is an achievement this year.
there's absolutely nothing to indicate Mosh has lost his hair trigger. Lampard is only a few losses away from the bullet imho. DCL injury probably buying him a bit of time atm. there was a form table posted the other week putting us 2nd bottom since his arrival iirc. if that doest change toot suite he's a goner.
