We have been competitive in each match. Last season, even under Lampard, we were uncompetitive in matches.

Exactly. Fine margins.

Chelsea, let's be honest. We should have won. They get a penalty from a none free kick.

Villa. Gray misses sitter. Goal ruled out offside. Nearly draw.

Forest. Batter them first thirty and last twenty mins.

Today. Gray misses sitter to go two up.

I’m fairness mate, that wouldn’t surprise me. Dele was 100% his signing, didn’t work out and that’s fine didn’t lose much money there.

I’m Chelsea’s last nine managers, only Hiddink’s second spell has a lower win %.

I understand that he gets us , he speaks like a blue from town and calls out everything we’re saying.

I just think it’s naive to expect Lampard to be the saviour. And I would absolutely love nothing more to be proven wrong.

Saviour? Could have Klopp in charge and we would struggle.

What exactly are you expecting that is so different to being served up? Honestly with the same cards dealt.

I think its remarkably naive to still believe changing a manager could fix the problems at thos club. If Ancelotti can't fix it then there is no miracle worker out there who can.

Players improve individually under Lampard, thats a big deal.

Alli also was clearly in the pipeline way before Lampard. It was announced like 2 hours after he became manager.

I don’t think it’s naive to suggest another more experienced manager could get more out of this crop of players.

I keep hearing individual players have improved yet results haven’t.

If he was so bad, why did our PPG improve last season, and he keep us up against all the odds.

I'm not a huge Lampard fan, but nobody seems to be able to explain that to me.

At some point, do we not have to stop continually changing managers? And see maybe that's the problem?
Our PPG improved last season and we survived "against all odds" because Richarlison turned into prime Ronaldo for few games near the end of last season. Nothing shows that it was because of Lampard, but rather we survived in spite of Lampard. If it wasn't for Richarlison, we would be playing the likes of Luton and Coventry this season, but I think this will be inevitable next season if we don't act soon enough.
