Lampard and Benitez have the exact same league points per game record as each other.

Lampard's record is 22 points from 22 games, Benitez record is 19 points from 19 games.

They didnt. Your stats dont add up to 38 games.

Lampard record was better. He inherited a broken squad. Benitez inherited a squad that got 59 points. In much more trying circumstances, Lampard showed himself to be the better manager.

Inappropriate Language
Lampard is not manager material, never has been and never will be. We need to cut our losses before this season gets worse and bring in a new manager. Out of the 20 managers in the PL, I would say Lampard is 19th best manager and probably only Parker from Bournemouth is inferior to Lampard. Our owners need to go in strong and find in a decent manager or we are getting relegated.

If he was so bad, why did our PPG improve last season, and he keep us up against all the odds.

I'm not a huge Lampard fan, but nobody seems to be able to explain that to me.

At some point, do we not have to stop continually changing managers? And see maybe that's the problem?

Lad genuinely striker situation aside, what have you seen that suggests Lampard is the long term answer this club needs?
He kept us up when we were in a hole

I think his work at Chelsea was very underrated. I think his teams are organised. I think he has improved a number of individuals in our side. I think he is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. I think he showed he is pragmatic enough to set us up in the best way to get results, even when it goes against his preferred style.

I also have always had a gut instinct that he's the right fit here. Nothing has changed my opinion on that. I wanted him here last summer when Benitez was appointed and I think it was big mistake not to get him in then. He might still fail here but that doesn't necessarily reflect badly on him. The club is totally broken and even Ancelotti couldn't fix it.

The current context is also really important. Its not an excuse, its just reality. You can't win often at this level with such a total lack of attacking quality. Why were you expecting us to win games with these terrible forward options?
