It's a long season ahead folks. Think we just need to remember that.
Think after last year everyone is a bit nervous, that we are heading the same way it's only natural.
We are not really showing any improvement pionts wise at the moment.
We havnt really had a good run of results for a long time,
Beginning of last season?
So it's bound to tell on the fans.

But who. Out of all our options now who do you play.

Alan. Unfit and doesn't wanna be here.
JPG. Unfit.
Alli. Uninterested.
Onana. New signing and getting fitness.
Iwobi. Yes.
Davies. Getting back to fitness and ultimately never been good enough.
Doucoure. Injured.

Who is there.

The magic players who fit into every system that fans think the manager isnt playing or using right.

Results will come. I'm certain of that.

The performances and overall balance of the team has been better as far as I'm concerned. The league this season is looking hugely competitive, probably moreso than ever, so we have to factor that as well. There are rarely ever any 'easy' games in this league, especially for us.

I've just watched Lampard's presser after the match. Good to see him sounding positive, still seems really confident that the side will continue to improve. It's clear that he's pleased with the development of the younger players as well.

Which game was Frank watching by the way, cause listening to his presser it wasn't the game I watched. Yes we had a few chances but Brentford could have embarrassed us. Our defence, at times, where all over the gaff.

Well we need to buy players who can play in midfield or full backs that suit the system. If we end the transfer window and 3-5-2 is still all we've got to offer it's going to be one hell of a struggle.

Its to early for me to decide if youre just a terrible troll or someone in need of special ed. Atm Im leaning towards a combination of both.

Would love it if you and the other obvious trolls like this Judi Dench-account would go chat about whatever red shirt wearing team you actually support insted of filling this forum with absolute garbage posts. Its not fun or charming and youre not fooling anyone. Its just pathetic and childish.

Would be great if the mods could do an IP search and ban these fools.

Oh dear

This.

The game  Is and always was, both won and lost in the Mid Field

just sayin like.

Edit; 'wingbacks' are just fullback who like to go walkabout...and sometimes think they dont have to get back that quick because *in the manner of little britain* - I'm a 'Wingback'

The clue's in the name.

Yeh but Lampard is being rounded on now because of his 5 3 2.

But what's he to do.

He's obviously well aware hence the bids for Gana and Garner, Kudus.
He's remedied it partly with Onana but with very little money to spend and a centre of defence as well as forward line to fix, he's been left with real little choice.

I actually think his go to formation is 5-3-2 but we will over the next few weeks if options become available. The weakness of the full backs in the attacking half of the pitch is what is killing this formation.
