Leeds is huge. If we don't win that then Liverpool and Arsenal could easily slot a few past us and the morale of the players will be rock bottom.

We've seen before in the Premier League that teams who once managed to grind out games by the odd goal can quickly go the other way. Sheffield United are one that springs to mind.

Yes good point, I seem to remember them losing their first 4.

Arsenal and Liverpool will be tough, but a lot will depend on which Liverpool turn up. We just have to keep accumulating points in preparation for the easier games.

A season defining week ahead.

The transfer window shuts until January. Will we lose Gordon (and others)? Who (if anyone) will come in? We could have 5 points from 5 games or be in the bottom three. Frank could be upbeat with signings, points and momentum heading towards the World Cup break or even more down than he already appears to be.

I'm actually not worried looking ahead to the Derby weirdly.

I don't see us rolling over for them at all

Just out of interest, for those stating 532 isn't working and we should revert to 442 or 433...

Which three are you planning on playing in midfield now then? We only really have Davies Onana and Iwobi.

Where are our forwards who go up top?

Whatever formation we play has to have 3 in midfield for me. Get us playing on the front foot more rather than trying to soak up pressure.

We didn’t go to a 3 man midfield at all second half yesterday did we? Little concerning. I’d have thought after doing it at Fleetwood with Warrington he’d have realised that’s a good way to wrestle back some control and possession.
I wonder if the Gana hold up is why we haven’t switched yet, I assume once we finally get that over the line and/or bring James Garner in as is rumoured then we’ll switch to 433

This is real issue just don't have the players to play the formation. It'll be squeeky bum every time we loose the ball. We just can transition quick enough. Could be a shed load worse TBH at least we've picked up.a.couple of points where we failed to get anything last season.

But who. Out of all our options now who do you play.

Alan. Unfit and doesn't wanna be here.
JPG. Unfit.
Alli. Uninterested.
Onana. New signing and getting fitness.
Iwobi. Yes.
Davies. Getting back to fitness and ultimately never been good enough.
Doucoure. Injured.

Who is there.

Both them 2 aren’t options anyway as they’re in Turkey
