I see a better organised team than last year. Add a good goalscorer and we can be much better
adding a good goalscorer is one of the most difficult challenges for any non Big Club.

How many - better than 1-in-3 average ratio - have we had in the last 30 years? Just two: Cottee and Rom.

That's it.

It's actually very rare for us to have a good regular goalscorer. The team we have now need to be scoring goals between them, we can't rely on a mythic striker we haven't even signed yet.

I dont mean an elite striker. I mean another forward capable of getting close to 10 goals

We would have lost all these games in the latter part of last season...........at least we have stopped the rot of defeats with mitigating circumstances of having no striker of note. Everything should have been done earlier but we can see the progress apart from attack being clinical. I am positive

To be honest look at brentford. Very highly rated goal scorer in Toney. Couldn’t beat us at the weekend and palace tonight. Can’t put to much in a striker changing fortune

We should start calling Frank 'the Grinder' given his propensity for grinding out points.

1-in-3 isn't elite...it's merely good.

A striker only bagging 10 a season is pretty naff and won't add up to many extra points. Our team needs to be scoring goals between them.

Frank, as a goalscoring midfielder, knows this but probably doesn't know what to do about it.

Not a good sign.

A forward scoring 10 goals would be huge for us. We had lots of players on 1 and 2 goals last year. 10 goals means more wins and more points
