It just feels, to this old arse, that this side has some actual bollocks in it. Pickford wont let us down much, defence, esp Tarks and Coady, are like cement. The midfield give no quarter, Dom back gives any defence sommet to think about, and then lob in a few pests to buzz about.

It aint gonna win the league, and we will lose some games. But I feel, maybe optimistically, that we wont get beat that often.

An Everton team if you like.

Your boys at Palace are utter dogmuck.
My stance of rate the players don't understand the manager remains. Olise not playing over Ayew is like if a club had the second best creative midfielder to De Bruyne in the squad and used Abdoulaye Doucoure instead. No one would do that would they?

Mentality has to he right though every week. You go out like they did at Spurs and you aren't beating anyone. Believe you can play with teams, score goals, defend in moments where the shape is lost a little, battle in midfield and you can be right there every single week.

What building block did we see against Spurs?

I'll come back for an answer when I need to reload again.
Shape, team work. Attacking threat was muck, nobody is saying any different

You don’t go from one of the worst teams in the league to challenging in one year, especially after losing your real goal scoring threat and not replacing him

The shape in the Spurs game was an absolute disaster if you're actually trying to win a football match.

I don't want to go backwards like this but the attacking intent was not there in recent weeks and that just cannot happen again. Frank has to let Mykolenko and the deeper midfielders at least support or we will have 1 shot over 90 minutes again. Today was different because the manager allowed the team to go for it.
