How did an Emery team set up at Arsenal, when they went backwards and they wanted him sacked?

I seem to remember you making these same points about Bielsa, and why he was a better manager than Ancelotti. Would you care to inform me who won the CL last season?
To quote Bertrand Russell: "I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong". I undeservedly gave Ancelotti a lot of criticism, but I stand by the fact that he was not a good fit with us. Ancelotti is too pragmatic and results-oriented, but not the man you hire to develop a mediocre club. I also believe that Bielsa is a very good coach. I justify this by the fact that his teams are very recognisable, i.e. he is extremely skilled at turning theory into practice. The objection to Bielsa is his defensive play and that he is too idealistic at times. Two managers who thrive in two different contexts. But let's not discuss water under the bridge.

The current situation is such that a loss against Bournmouth should make us hit the panic button. Then Lampard has an average of less than 1 point per game, and no noticeable progress. He has neither results to show (Ancelotti), nor a clear way of playing football (Bielsa). In addition, he is a blank slate, like Gerrard, and lacks the experience that the managers of our competitors have.

Spurs losing against the RS and Conte is in constant activity on the sideline trying to encourage his players. Contrast that with Frozen Frank, immobile on the sideline throughout the game.

We press the panic button and appoint which one out of Pereira, Ferguson or Rooney?, because they appear to be the only serious applicants last time around.
We’ve probably pushed the panic button one to many times already to be considered a desirable place for any quality manager to ply his trade.

Rumours Potterball is under a wee bit of pressure already at Chelsea.

If sacked him or Thomas Fronk would do me for a few seasons until BMD is built and the finances improve then look for a serious appointment like Villa have just done.

Maybe Big Kev Thelwell could even try tempt Mancini after the WC ends ?

November was always the danger zone for Frank because the World Cup break and the impending availability of World Cup managers made it a timely opportunity for Moshiri to fall for some newly-glamorous flash-in-the-pan. So, if we lose next week and Moshiri decides he wants a change, it'll likely be a World Cup manager who tickles his fancy. A phenomenal coach in Belgium with a bit of va-va-voom glamour would tick all of Moshiri's glistening boxes.

If Frank can survive December, then I think he might hang on in there by grinding out enough wins to keep panic at bay. If he fails to do that, Sean Dyche will probably be the man he turns to.

Strong rumours tonight that Hassenhuttl is on his way out at Southampton, dont want him here but the last thing we need is another team picking up points because we will be deep in trouble.
Every team below us - and some now above - have sacked their manager this season. This is the nature of the game. Frank will not be immune to this reality because he is a diamond geezer. Needs a win next weekend.

he’s not even been here a year you absolute ghouls. Stop acting like he took over a top notch team which he’s ruined.. he took over a crap side with absolutely zero spirit and players going through the motions.

Some just aren’t willing to give a manager at least 12 months before they start calling for his head.
