There is no doubt that Frozen Frank still has the affection/support of much of the match going fans. I know I frequently give him abuse for an apparent lack of activity on the touchline but he can't hear me and I am only letting off steam in my frustration. But the game is the game and eventually the crowd's anger will turn from players such as Gray, Gueye, Onana, Gordon to name the worst to Frozen Frank. Maybe he will perform miracles with this mix of average to very poor players. Their crapness is not really his fault but he shows little signs of turning the situation around. Here's hoping he can before it is too late.

Frozen Frank?

Frank's comments worry me. To imply that a couple of missed chances were the only difference between the two sides - 'possession was 50/50ish', 'we missed two of the better chances in the game' - suggests a startling lack of insight. Yes, we did miss two chances (out of a total of 12 with only 2 on taget). If you only have 2 shots on traget then you have to hope for a pretty high conversion rate (50% or more) to hope to win a game. Leicester missed many more good chances. The difference is that they created more of them (22 shots with 12 on target) and ony needed a conversion rate of less than 10% to score. It was not a close game, Leicester deserved the win. Frank is either fooling himself or trying to fool us. I'd rather he told it how it is, then i'd have some confidence that he may know what he's doing.
translation. its the players fault

Matty Cash from Villa on loan, Dan Burn from Brighton and Trippier From Spain.

Trippier is a well known established international. But, if you said Everton were signing Matty Cash and Dan Burn you would not be happy.

Because we're idiots who think certain players "aren't good enough" especially last season when a player like Dan Burn is/was better than the CBs we had.

Additionally Tripper for Coleman, Myko for Target (who was thrown in the deep end) would've easily improved our defence.

Add Guimaraes who eclipsed our entire midfield and Chris Wood for a less than athletic Rondon...we'd have been out of danger fairly easily IMO.

Oh and that cost £90million alone.

Are really going to say he 'lost' 10 squad players, as if the likes of Gomes, Tosun and Gbamin going was a major hardship?

I would be very surprised if Maupay agreed to come here expecting to play less than he has. He's played 102 league games in 3 years at Brighton, starting most of them. I can't imagine that he came here thinking he was just going to get the odd run out off the bench once a month.

Still a squad that's been overhauled and a hardship in getting rid due to wages.

Players gone vs Palace - Kenny, Gomes, Richarlison, Alli, DVB (loan), Allan. Squad filler Keane, Coleman, Holgate. Majority of these played for 3 seasons together.

Lampards new players have had 14 league games.

He's trying to see positives for a new side. He knows it was a bad game. Leicester crested 3 big chances, missed 3. We created 2 and missed 2. I'd say we had the more gilt edged chances and we're still in the game until the 80th minute.

Last season he said the side had no bollocks so he'll call it out when it's necessary.

We created little but we do create big opportunities. We just don't have the qualities to turn that around.

We did that quite well under Carlo especially when you had Richy,James, and Dom

Fullbacks consistently offer nothing, the midfield don't seem to be playing with cohesion or proper instruction and the attack are frequently isolated and disjointed.

34 points from 32 games under Lampard is a disgrace.

You’ve just gave the execs ruining this club another season despite near ruin last season, only so they can throw you a bit of Lampard red meat to scrap over while those causing the problems laugh at how thick, angry and predictable our fans are.
But the red meat is also not great because they picked it.

The display against Leicester was so bad that towards the end of the game the exodus of regular year in year out match going fans from around me was extraordinary and depressing. At the end there were only me and my lad and two Irish friends who fly here for every game surrounded by empty seats. Our managers post match assessment was an insult to those fans.
