We say that, yet no decent manager has done it since.
Mainly because this man has no clue about football, or a footballing structure

Thats an illogical viewpoint.

He came in and did the job he was paid to do - how many staff of EFC can you honestly say have done that in recent years ?
Yer he did, he done what we all knew he would do, it's the way he done it, it's who he brought with him and most importantly it's how he went about it. Those days watching that "football" were amongst the darkest days I've known with thks club ( again in my lifetime )

It doesn’t have to be about factions forming around previous managers. You can both back Lampard and admit Allardyce did a decent job for what was needed at the time.

I’ve tried to back most of our previous managers, Koeman was the one I disliked the most as I felt he literally couldn’t care less. He also had the most favourable conditions of any Everton manager in our modern history and put a millstone round our neck that we still haven’t got free of. He’s the worst Everton manager by a long long way.

My list of possible replacements, tuchel or poch as dream tickets, both prob will say no, but worth a try ? Then maybe try Simone from AM, he needs a fresh challenge, but might need a break from footy. Otherwise I would wait for Martinez, reckon he will be available after World Cup. He’s better attacking manager than what we got now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Tuchel, Poch or Simone would walk over hot coals to manage Everton with no money and a turbo gash squad wouldn’t they ?‍♂️ Dear me.

Mad take that.

Im not disputing the football wasn't dour stuff - but it also was in Silva's 2nd season, both of Ancelotti's, part of Benitez's and pretty much all of Lampard's.

At least under Alladyce (and to a lesser extent King Carlo) we got results playing dour stuff. Currently we are playing gash and also stuck in the bottom 6.

It's peculiar how previous purchases and squad decisions under previous managers were the responsibility of those aforementioned managers, yet any purchases and squad decisions under the current manager are, apparently, purely the work of Kevin Thelwell. It's queer.

Personally I think KT had more input than most DoFs that have gone before him.

Steve Walsh and Brands were both bullied.

Walsh - an ace scout - was put into a job he was never suited for. Brands, meanwhile, was put into skinny jeans that never suited him.

The jury is out on Thelwell. There's not much evidence to point to to say he is anything other than the latest puppet. However, if it is he who wields the axe on Lampard over the coming months - and parachutes his own choice of manager in as a replacement - I might start to believe you.
