Your point would hold water if these players had played under other managers for Everton and were also crap. 2 of the 3 you listed as Lampard purchases.

Thelwell signed 6 of the starting XI today and 3 of them would be some of the first to bin

There’s experienced managers out there who will do better than Lampard and give us a better chance. Some of the names will be unpalatable but this is what the board have done to us. Tbh I’ll be going all out for Bielsa because sod it let’s just go for it. Death or glory.

Imagine Mick Keggers, Yerald Mina, Dumbo McNeil, Big Salamander and Tommy D trying to play 90 minutes of "murderball" or whatever it was called. Their heads would fall off but it would be epic entertainment I suppose. ?

That is why he should have given certain others a chance.

I’m in two minds.

I’d prefer us to stick with him, as I don’t think there’s a manager readily available to us who’d have us performing levels above what we currently are with these attackers.

But if we give him January and he ends up going anyway, I feel this upcoming break would’ve been the perfect time to get a new manager bedded in and his desired targets for January sounded out (should there be any funds).

Just think with keeping us up, I do like the man, I'd like to see him have more than 1 transfer window.

If we sack him all we are gonna get is journeymen managers who want to be sacked for the payout and don't care.

They'll get them somehow. Who knows what was put in place begore the window shut in terms of players talked to / enquired about?

I wouldn't be surprised if Brereton-Diaz was stiil in play for us.
