Best hope is to stick and invest in Jan. He's got 6 weeks with most of our dross to come up with a more effective tactic and hopefully we get the strikers in that we all knew we needed in August. Just glad to have a break from this club for a while and just watch the WC. ( Of course ...our board is dysfunctional enough to make a bad situation worse. )

The only thing that will keep him in a job til after the WC is if Kenwright and Mosh have Bobby lined up and cant say a thing until after (like Lopetegui 2018)

At this point , all I want is an average manager, who can get us putting in solid premier league performances on a consistent basis, gets us to 10-12 for a few seasons and gets rid of all the stress.

Unfortunately we just move from one crisis to another.

Ultimately the problem isn’t Lampard, it wasn’t even really benitez …it’s the absolute clowns running the ship. There has been no coherent planning arguably since moyes left and it’s no coincidence we have gradually turned into perennial relegation candidates.

Imagine Mick Keggers, Yerald Mina, Dumbo McNeil, Big Salamander and Tommy D trying to play 90 minutes of "murderball" or whatever it was called. Their heads would fall off but it would be epic entertainment I suppose. ?

They’d deserve the training regime. They all would.

The question is, can anyone else get Maupay, Gordon, McNeil, Gray to score more goals? If you don’t back any other manager to do so then why judge Frank harshly for it after he’s had one window and fixed the def/mid problems

I honestly wish there was some magic pill I could take that would make me forget they existed.

Too many times I’ve said “I’m done with these” but am back again the very next weekend like a crackhead waiting for a fix of misery.
