Losing 1-0 to Chelsea is a whatever, they’re chasing a title and we only just escaped relegating.

Losing away to Villa, chasing Europe, when a draw would have been fair is tough nuggets.

0 points from 6 sucks but it’s not like we just got mullered by Fulham and Bournemouth.

I suppose he's decided to go along with the fire sale and take a shot on doing ok. Well, good luck with that. It sounds fanciful to me, and I think he might take us down, but I hope he pulls it off.

Hell of a turnaround for me in my judgment of the feller. I'm defo not in with the pitchfork lot, but I couldn't care less if he goes in the near future either.

Richarlison was always going. Nothing anyone could do about that, we were in a financial hole and he wanted CL football. We got ok money for him. If Gordon goes it’s not because the club has forced him out as I don’t believe his sale was ever part of the summer plans, it will be because he wants to go. If that’s the case I say let him go. Lampard is wanting to build a culture where everyone in the squad wants to play for Everton, if Gordon is no longer 100% committed then get him out and get someone in who will be.

Lampard has shown in the past he can adapt to challenges and get results. This is another one, we’ll get through this but there was always going to have to be this season when players were culled and new ones embedded. Can’t just have season after season of hoofing it to DCL and Richarlison as the only tactic and wondering why we can’t move forward as a club.

That's completely naive.

They fired a warning shot on that one early on in the window.

They just backloaded it to the final week or two of this window.

And if he goes he'll agree to it, but it will be on the basis that the club need the cash and the manager will persuade him that Chelsea is his route to England and CL football. This isn;t about Gordon. Dont let them sell another and fall for the whiff of Judas they'll spin it with. That's been done many times before. It's all nabout Everton selling to buy...selling very good players to buy a load of tat.

It was clear as day what I said: I'm not for pitchforking him, but he's done for me as a manager I can support if this sale happens.

Simple and clear and consistent.
