It's what made Everton different , for example, to Liverpool FC - who's boardroom traditionally lorded it over a disorganised and passive membership. It's only lately that Liverpool fans have rallied around a mob like the Spirit of Shankly.

All organisations should endeavour to bring the base with them and not dictate to them.

ALL THE CLUBS SHAREHOLDERS (not just the shareholders association) NEED TO BE RESPECTED and communicated with

The EFCSA is only one part of the shareholders. Not the totality of it

In most successful businesses the board of directors use it to promote the success of the business (not like the ex- board that used it for personal publicity purposes or treating shareholders with utter contempt)

@davek is a legend on this forum. He's hilarious but he also makes excellent points on occasion.

Many of his views I don't agree with - but I enjoy seeing what he has to say and respect he has something to say. It is rare I've had to tell @davek to shut up. He's passionate about Everton Football Club. No different to me.

I love Everton Football Club and want it winning stuff and being rich and successful

Friedkin Group MO is not to communicate - unless absolutely necessary

They're not people to run their mouths off. It is really not the way they work.

You don't get a guard dog and bark yourself (etc)

I'm not hopeful they will return the EFC AGMs as it does not seem to be their style

However, it's possible they may. They will hire the best people they can find for the EFC board

None of this hiring a CEO from a local charity with zero experience. Because it suits Bill Kenwright!

The AS Roma board of directors (note the CEO isn't on it!), is full of top tier lawyers and business people. People that are involved in national level companies in Italy. They also use independent non-executive directors and a significant number on the 8 person AS Roma board

None of this Bill Kenwright management committee - of "EFC board of directors" we've had in the past!
 

1. Bring in a set of top young coaches throughout the Academy setup. Preferably look to bring in those coaches from Spain or Portugal - the quality of their players technical ability is exceptional.
2. Ban Academy teams ever playing with 1 player at the top of the team (i.e. Unsworth) - it's criminal expecting young players to have the physical strength to play on their own up front.
3. Go further than that and insist that all teams must play 4-3-3 as Barcelona insist.
4. Touching on Barcelona - actively take on this idea that BMD will be known as The Blue Camp - can't be a bad thing to have the club align ( oops - a Dycheism slipped in there) itself with Barcelona - RATHER THAN EFFING BURNLEY !!
5. Ensure the Under 23s play their games at The Blue Camp - it will raise the profile of the club in youth football to help attract the best young players.
6. Ensure decent streams of under 23 games and more extensive highlights.
6. Sign Gyokeres.

I don't think any competent ground staff would recommend two teams playing a full season on the same pitch if you want it to be anything like PL standard.

You can't just relay turf every week - it needs rest and care like anything else. Especially when it's a new ground where there is always a slight element of risk to how well a new pitch takes in that particular environment.

And the whole "Let's be a Barca tribute" thing is a touch cringe inducing for my liking. And may not be entirely compatible given the difference in set-ups in how B-Teams are set up in the Spanish league structure.

I thought you were demanding the AGMs to be reintroduced the other week?

Are you saying now that because TFG dont do communication then that's a demand you no longer make?

On a serious note, at Roma they've hiked the season ticket prices massively since buying them 4 years ago.

TFG need to make sure they dont alienate especially the match-going fans who have paid to watch utter tat for years in a sub-fit-for-purpose PL stadium like GP.

They cant come in here and effectivley tip those fan upside down and shake out the money from their pockets. If they do that they can expect a greater backlash than the Curva Sud have given them so far.
