What about all the licensed outlets all over the world? There are AK-47's being producing in Asia, Africa, Middle East, South America. Try shutting all those down.

Saying lets get rid of guns is like saying lets get rid of illegal drugs. Beautiful in theory, but it just will not become a reality.
 
well, drugs is possible if bio weaponry was allowed to be used, there is a chemical that sterilises the earth so cocaine plants cant thrive isnt there?

Thats my point though Dylan, I'm not saying crack down on illegally produced guns, but to stop the legal making of them altogether.

The problem with drugs is not with those making them, the problem lies with a state called L.A. where the people think drugs are orange juice and toast.

So you want to go to a world wife dictatorship that will ruthlessly crack down on the production of all firearms? Becasue sure as [Poor language removed] that is what it sounds like.

And the second part, way to lump everybody in LA into one group. The problem is the people who make the drugs. Some of them go to great measure to ensure they retain their market, preying on the weak and stupid.
 

if people don't buy it people won't make it.

supply and demand simple as.

why not crackdown on the production of pocket sized death machines?
maybe kids will stop being murdered if we did.

how strange it keeps happening in the US. What are the odds?

We may as well, noting our compassion, chalk these gun rampages (of course they are the minority, hundreds more will die from single incidents of shooting and gun accidents, hunting accidents etc every year) down to an american cultural phenomenon - like diet pepsi, mickey mouse and people who think friends is funny.

if they wanted these people to live, they'd do something about it. they prefer their guns.
 
Come on Monty, not as often as there. In fact, take away Hungerford and Im struggling to think of something else here with a mass execution by shooting.

we must be harsher on guns to stop things happening, look over the pond where they are looser on control and its happening weekly.

How about the kids getting killed on a regular basis round this 'gun free' country of ours, come on boys wake up, young Rhys was murdered by a gun, not a legal gun as they were at Hungerford and Dunblane masacres remember, and it was fired by another kid, not an expert marksman as in the other examples. No matter how much you are all in denial they are avaialable even to minors, ask the victims family and relatives. The next thing we will hear will be on the lines of an all out gun fight between these gangs of kids................that is a FACT!
 
so long as they only kill each other, thats fine by me, in fact, lets give them all uzi's to make sure. its when innocents are harmed and killed that it becomes abhorrent.
