I know you can still get it but believed it also offered some protection against receiving it. Can you link me to this claim? Where do the vaccine company's themselves say it only reduces symptoms
I thought you would have read the literature that came with your vaccine? I thought it was a legal requirement to get people to read and then sign off on the a sheet waiving your rights for something that’s still experimental? I had to at least.

Vaccines are mandatory for my job as well as masks on Planes I live in Australia for the record.
medical exemptions exist within reason but the amount of people that have legitimate reasons for not receiving doses is very few.

be interesting what happens with away games,i know lads who have already booked trains to leeds on aug 21.
those trans pennine trains are horrendously packed on saturdays going via manchester.
then there is the question of away credits!
Don’t think there’s much a question about credits. They will just stay like they did. I thought maybe aways might not be a thing bout given no travel restrictions are on place from 19th it’s back to normal.

I’ve just had a look at my account and I’ve got 19 match credits , don’t know how I had the opportunity to get 19 in the ‘19-20 season.

That's exactly the purpose of this thread. I believe it's important for all of us to be having these types of conversations and discussions so we can become aware what's everyone’s feelings as our governments continue moving forward with the dismissal of Covid restrictions at a time that the Delta strain seems to be spreading vastly specially among unvaccinated communities.
Have in mind that we're now up to a million tests each day so the number of cases detected will, even without any changes in circumstances, have produced around a doubling of positive cases found compared to several months back. Note as well that the numbers are low compared to those in 2020 and early this year so quoting the data in terms of percentage increases, whilst providing indications of rates of transmission of the virus, does serve to make the current situation appear far more concerning than it is.
Number of deaths should always be the main focus, and with current daily numbers around the 20 mark compared to the 1,300 per day norm of mid January and an average number of deaths per day from flu/pneumonia over the course of 2020 of over 60.

Im on 14, i wonder if they are using the previous season? I dunno, might even be the one before that

I see Johnson, true to form, has told another lie. After delaying the mid-June 'Freedom Day' to mid-July on the basis that the decision to do so will be 'irreversible' we now see the immediate resurrection of restrictions (and, indeed covid passports) being lined up for Autumn (and doubtless beyond). And once again the lack of logic is astounding. Of course covid case numbers will be greater come October as the seasonality of the virus will be hitting in by then, but why is the hospitality industry again being targeted but the sports sector has already been told it can have full attendances; and with influenza deaths currently running at around 10 times the numbers from covid, why are there no restrictions currently in place against the spread of flu?

One other perplexing piece of news today: after a number of pilot tests on the subject of the transmission of covid from mass attendance events had shown the risks of significant spread are low, how come we now read of a calculation that a 56% increase in positive covid cases this week is mainly down to the Euros?

So the majority are unvaccinated, those people saying it's just as easy to get it vaccinated are spouting nonsense
Have had the first jab and have covid this week, your talking rubbish. I hope you never get it as it’s not pleasant at all, starting to feel something more like normal after 1 week of it, and I consider myself lucky for that and that it hasn’t affected any of my family or friends at the moment in any bad way.
