I hear people talking about businesses reopening, freedom to move, removal of restrictions, attendance of football matches/sporting events etc. How many of them are willing to work daily 12 hour shifts and risk transmitting Covid back to their families if the NHS gets overrun? I suspect most will be happy to be furloughed/work from the safety of their homes. Makes sense to wait for wholesale double jabs to me. We've waited long enough, a bit longer wont hurt..
Just wanted to add, my mum lives in Malaysia. They have double jabbed 9% of their adult population. They are overrun with Covid. Certain areas have been barbed wired off to prevent people moving. It's crazy there.
They have no furlough system. They are, for want of a better word. Screwed. I bet they look at us complaining about not being able to watch a football match and think......idiots.

Errr, no. You introduced a sub-group: those who have genuine medical reasons why they CAN'T be vaccinated. That's not the same as "I spent 63 hours last week watching Youtube videos about conspiracy theories and now I tell everyone who will listen that the vaccine will put a 5G chip in you."
