Good point, not quite sure whether it will be an open draw or whether they will rotate provinces on combos - i suppose the two based on league places will have to be wilcards as it where.

By the way mate, some performance by Armagh in Corker in Jan - was up at it - we were hammered. Not sure if you guys are targeting the league and staying in Div 1 in terns of fitness, but you will have a say in the Championship this year if you can turn in performances like that. We're awful at the moment though to be fair.
The new combination of matches from an open draw would make it very exciting. Would love to see Kerry land in a group with 3 Ulster teams.

Staying up was a big target for Armagh this year. However I think the pundits have overplayed the team being fitter than others at this time of year. No one goes into the season unprepared.

We have yet to see our first choice midfield and 2 key forwards have seen little game time so fair to say we haven’t peaked yet.

Was at the game, shockingly bad by all involved really felt for the Hurlers they didnt have two mins to celebrate in front of a decently filling Hill, before being shunted aside for the footballers. Success is hard to come by for the Dublin Hurlers so when it comes the lads deserve to enjoy it probably, was really poorly handled - awful. Some result last night!! We're throwing shapes this Spring lol

Ha ha if you took that picture - we were very close to each other seating wise in the Cusack i think i was the next block over. lol
Yeah that’s my own pic neighbour.

Dublin hurlers were just so much hungrier for the ball that night.

I thought the same myself fitness wise, no free passes in Div 1, all year fitness is now required. It was the defense that impressed me and we know your not getting through Ulster unless you can snare attacking threat. Johnson is out of this world, doesn't get the plaudits the likes of Clifford does but that will suit him. Agreed on the players missing huge fan of Jarlaith Og. I wouldn't be a huge Geezer fan as a manager mind.

I think its great day for football, it really levels the playing field and takes out the advantage Dublin and Kerry have had for years in terms of not being tested until a Semi. Id openly admit as a Dub its been very enabling, anything that cuts the long grass im in favor off. The Championship will be in better place. All that said on my way over to Newbrdige to maybe watch Kildare hand us one.

Used to love the carvery in Swift’s in Newbridge pre game. Haven’t been there in years though the way fixtures have worked out.

Stop Flynn and you are more than half way there.

Dessie needs to go. Loved him as a player but disaster as a manager.

I said I’d give him this year as he’s exactly where Jim was in 14, won one, lost won. Though based on this league I’ve zero hope or expectation, he’s going to dIe on his sword with this approach and philosphey and we’re learning nothing from week to week. Be his last year, people forget how hard the Dublin crowd can turn. Think we might see Darcy next.

We lose in Omagh and we are gone. No confidence at all. A six in a row All Ireland team drops like a stone.

Just in and I’m going to watch your game now. Know the result though.

Dubs need to win in Omagh next time out.

Was down the Hyde wasn’t it. We butcherd a heap today! Good crowd though. Kildare were the better team, totally deserved it.

I’m hand on heart not to be bothered an out being relegated, I’m actually looking forward to it a bit, tired of playing the same teams making the same tripe every two years, been mad for trip down to the new pairc for a while now, while I can handle a weekend in Galway or Derry. Be a bit of craic.
