Was down the Hyde wasn’t it. We butcherd a heap today! Good crowd though. Kildare were the better team, totally deserved it.

I’m hand on heart not to be bothered an out being relegated, I’m actually looking forward to it a bit, tired of playing the same teams making the same tripe every two years, been mad for trip down to the new pairc for a while now, while I can handle a weekend in Galway or Derry. Be a bit of craic.

The drop off in Dublin is incredible. Was talking to a few Dubs the night of our game and they were telling me the camp doesn’t have any faith in Farrell.

I would just die happy if we could win the McCarthy. I was there when we won the League, beat Galway to win Leinster and sadly lost the All Ireland semi final to Cork.

It is the greatest game in the world, although I never played. Soccer and football in my day

A lot of rumours always flying around Dublin, I take them with a pinch.

My take is he has this philosphey we’re seeing pocession based game, man to man defending, he playec this way with Dublin underage and Na Fianna, it has high peaks and low troughs and always inconsistent, it’s very open - how he has been in the past is how he is now with Dublin Seniors. He deserved his shot, but it hasn’t worked.

I don’t mind being beaten by better teams, but I think we still have as good if not better players then anyone else, the damning thing is he or rather his approach and philosphey isn’t getting the best out of them, we don’t look like a team anymore. Incredible really when you consider some of the success these players have had.

Yeah they are doing great, wel get likely two out of three, I honestly couldn’t care less about bring relegated, be great craic, might be the year for it to, with the new structure we could be an All Ireland Quarter final by the end of March next year.

Can the Cork footballers avoid the drop to division 3 i wonder? It'll take time to turn Cork football around i think

As for the hurlers well the hurling is there. It's all about getting up to speed, with regards to the physical side of things imo.

I am beginning to believe Dessie, legend of a footballer that he is, nevertheless is not up to what is probably the most pressurised job in GAA.

Well Jim Gavin will be a hard act to follow alright! Come the business end of the championship, i fully expect Dublin to be there or thereabouts.

As the old cliché goes the league is the league, but the championship is the championship!

I could've won an all Ireland with Jim Gavin's side. Farrell was blessed to inherit it. Lots of rumours from the camp, players have no faith in his training or tactics.

Cork have booked their place in the semi finals. 1998 was the last time Cork won the league title in hurling.

I think they should go all out for that league title imo. Winning the league would be a nice confidence boost before the serious business starts!

Sean Og O hAilpin is probably the most famous person i've ever met. A very nice guy and a hero to all Cork folk!

I've never forgiven a certain Clare player, for racially abusing him in a munster championship match.

Mickey O'Connell who was a teammate of Sean Og, hit that Clare player a dig when their paths crossed a few years later.

I guess i've always held a grudge against Clare because of that, which i think in hindsight is probably wrong of me i admit.
