Sad, but makes sense there is a hell of a lot games being squeezed into the schedule then Sigurson, Club could still be going, County training loads building up and build up to leauge.
Don’t know about Ulster, but the gate for O’Byrne games goes into a player fund to help during injuries. Maybe that time has passed now Counties are so well set up.
The new schedules a mess in my opinion.
Championship should finish up the end of August in my opinion.
It’s a long winter (for some of us)!
It’ll be a short and happy winter in Armagh but I will miss the McKenna Cup nonetheless. I fear you're probably right. I'd say he wouldn't pass Garda vetting if he wanted to coach a kids team but he'll be clapped back into the most senior position in the county.
Derry see themselves as so close to Sam that they would sell their soul for it. Micky Harte a prime example but bringing back Gallagher would take it to a whole new level.
Mad that it would have been All Final weekend, either last week or this up to a couple of years ago.
We need to extent the Championship season again - the end of Aug i think is a nice middle ground.
